Seconds To The Beach, View From Deck, Sleeps 8 or 10 w/ Guest House

Seconds To The Beach, View From Deck, Sleeps 8 or 10 w/ Guest House 4 Bedrooms in the main house which sleeps 8, and a separate Guest House that will sleep 2 more for a total of 10! 2 full bathrooms in main house and a full bathroom in the Guest House. The Guest House also has a kitchen with a stove-top range, and refrigerator. The Guest House is rented separately from the main house . If you have over 8 people we require you take it and it is $150/night. Under 8 and you may chose to book it or not. We never book with a different family. We also have a 2nd story deck off the upstairs bedroom in the main house with deck furniture so you can relax and enjoy the mountain views while sipping your favorite beverage. There is even a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the deck! There is a large fenced in patio in the front of the house with a delightful sitting area. There is a seven day minimum from May 31 to Sept 15 . Holidays are 10% more. New years, Easter , Memorial day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, X-mas

We are only 60 seconds from the sand!

You can listen to the waves crashing from our backyard as you sit on the patio in the Jacuzzi with a glass of wine while keeping an eye on the gas bar-b-q. Our beach is not crowded and LONG, so you can walk along the sea's edge to your heart's content.

Within a few minutes walking distance is the Marina Beach park with lots of activities and beautiful views of the ocean and Marina. Ventura Harbor is only minutes away by bicycle or walking, and the Harbor has many shops, restaurants, and boat rentals. In addition, a short drive away or a scenic bike ride is the Ventura Pier, which has a promenade filled with walkers, roller-bladders, and cyclists. San Buenaventura Beach Park is also within walking distance, which is the start of a bike path that will take you along the coast or to the charming tourist town of Ojai. In addition, the city of Santa Barbara is only a 30 minute drive from Ventura.

Shops, restaurants, and rentals are all within easy walking distance. In addition to the Harbor, Seaward Ave. is a short walk from the house with charming restaurants and shops. Ventura Harbor has restaurants, boat rentals, cruises, whale watching boats, cruises to the Channel Islands, shops, a comedy club and much more.

Downtown Ventura is world renowned for its charming downtown area with antique stores, restaurants, saloons, and theatres. If you are not familiar with Ventura, California, it has a fantastic climate.

Temperatures are almost always moderate, lots of sun, low humidity, and very little rain.

The beach house is very charming and just steps from the beach! Suzy is amazing for suggestions on what to do in the area and very quick to respond to any requests. We loved this cozy home and would definitely go back!

Amazing. Everything was great and catered to our family of 10 beautifully. Plenty of beach toys, jacuzzi, BBQ. It had everything you would ever need. Sue and Mike were great communicators! Hope to return.

Perfect for spring break family trip

We stayed for spring break and had a wonderful time. There were so many highlights to our trip. The kitchen is well stocked with so many dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. The are ample bath towels and separate towels for the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and the back yard is perfect for hanging out would definitely stay again.

Great location in a well stocked unit!

We were welcomed in with little touches and gifts and immediately felt at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, even had a night of grilling. The bedding was also comfortable. Sue was very responsive and ensured us to feel at home with the surf boards, boogie boards, beach gear, and bikes. Location was great, easy 2 minute walk to the beach, and the harbor and shops on main are a bike ride away.Would recommend!

Best Family Beach Getaway

This rental has all the makings of an incredible beach vacation. Sue is an amazing host who genuinely wants her guests to fully enjoy their stay. The house is well-appointed with great spaces to come together and to relax . The location is a winner for beach days, hanging out at the park or at the pier. We are returning guests and are already planning our next stay!

4th of July beach vacation

We stayed one week and loved the property. Everything we needed was there, and we were very grateful for all of the thoughtful extras (boogie boards, bikes, etc.) The back yard is awesome. We spent the week visiting with family that lives nearby, and having this excellent beach house available gave us our own space and made for a very relaxing beach vacation.

Excellent place to stay near the beach and dog friendly!

We booked a stay for 6 nights and Sue made sure everything was perfect! There was even a bottle of wine and some chocolates waiting for us. The spa was fantastic (went in every night) and loved the fire-pit as well. Sunset walks on the beach were spectacular and of course the pups enjoyed being able to run around the yard. We hope to stay again!

Perfect Beach House

The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. It was the perfect house for a large group and even a full casita for those that like their own space. The back yard and front porch were perfect for our large group to relax and visit when we were home. Garage is full of everything you could imagine needing for the beach or fun! I would definitely stay here again!

restful vacation

Our family makes an annual trip to Ventura. We had a fabulous time this year. This property was great for our needs. It is very well maintained and we felt very welcome with some special touches from the owner. We made use of the back yard, enjoying the hot tub and eating all of our meals out on the patio table. The guest house worked well for use as an extra bedroom/bathroom.

Loved this place!!! Sue and Mike thought of everything! So clean and cute and room for all our family. Safe yard for the little ones to play in. The back patio was so charming and relaxing. Lovely place to eat and visit. The guest house was adorable. All this and so close to the beach!! It was sooo hard to leave. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place

We spent 3 nights and loved it- great patio in front and lovely yard in back with hot tub. My friend loved the guest house which we decided to book last minute. Sue was very attentive and responsive and I would love to come back and stay again. There were 7 of us, including my mother and brother from Holland. Used to live nearby in the mid 90s and I’m grateful Ventura remains a lovely quiet beach town….

Beach Get Away

Charming, close to beach, great bed combination for our family. We were there to go to my eldest grandson's college graduation, so 3 generations of family. In our down time, we enjoyed the surf, walks on the beach, the sunset, a lovely front porch and a fun back patio with a hot tub. It was well equipped for everything we wanted to do. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with friendly nice neighbors. We wished we had had more time to spend at the beach and visiting with each other. It was sort of a family reunion. The hosts were easy to communicate with and had a welcome sign for us in front. We hope to return again.

Cornhole Weekend

The house was very accommodating and comfortable. We had a group of adults playing at the local Throw Down cornhole festival. Every adult was comfortable. We enjoyed the closeness of the beach all the amenities at the house. The owners made it very reasonable to accommodate us for early check-in as we were all traveling out from out of town, definitely on the list for next

My wife and I have lived in Ventura County for 35 years, and we would not want to live anywhere else. I am from St. Louis Mo. originally, and my wife is from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. We both love the ocean and the relaxed lifestyle that comes with being near the water.

Why they chose this property

This house in located on what's called 'The Lanes' in the Pierpont Beach area of Ventura. It is a breathtakingly beautiful section of Ventura with so much to do and see that you will never get bored.

What makes this property unique

The house is just seconds from the beach on a charming lane with well maintained homes and very friendly neighbors. The location is close to Beach Parks, a Harbor, the town of Ventura, Ventura Pier, and much, much, more. The weather is nearly always moderate with lots of sun.
