Welcome to Haus Magdeburg, your Alpine escape in Helen, GA!

This newly renovated cabin sleeps large groups with 5 queen-size bunk beds, 3 king beds, and a sleeper sofa. Enjoy breathtaking views through the wall of windows, relax in the private theatre, play air hockey, or unwind on two patios. The fully equipped kitchen has quartz countertops, and the separate downstairs includes a coffee bar and kitchenette.

This listing includes occupancy for up to 16 guests. Each additional guest (up to a maximum of 32) will incur an extra linen fee of $10 per guest per night.

Please note, the lower level is entirely separate from the upper floors. It DOES NOT connect to the second floor via interior stairs and is accessible only through the exterior porch stairs.

Just a short walk from downtown, it's the perfect mountain retreat!

The space
Helen, GA, offers year-round activities, making Haus Magdeburg the perfect destination for any season. Experience the festive Oktoberfest celebrations from mid-September to late October, or visit the magical Christkindlmarkt, Helen's traditional German Christmas market, in December. This market features holiday crafts, treats, and gifts, capturing the old-world charm of a German holiday festival.

In the warmer months, enjoy tubing down the Chattahoochee River, open May through September. Back at Haus Magdeburg, fire up the propane BBQ grill for outdoor meals, or take a short walk to downtown Helen, where you'll find charming shops, restaurants, and scenic hiking trails.

Whether you're visiting for Oktoberfest, tubing, or simply seeking a peaceful mountain retreat, Helen provides endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

Please Note: Some doors with digital locks are for mechanicals and cleaning staff only, so please do not attempt to open them.

Haus Magdeburg is located right next to our other property, Haus Zugspitze, and shares a driveway with it. If you would like to rent out both cabins, search for our listing Summit Ber Weg and reserve the entire mountain top!

Wonderful stay, close to downtown

We had a wonderful time staying at Eric’s property! It was great for our group with enough rooms and space for all of us. There is a movie room and foosball table for entertainment, and it is so close to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!
