This listing is for our Small Blue Deluxe Studio, a cozy private guest room featuring a full-size mattress best suited for one guest and a private ensuite bathroom. As part of our bed-and-breakfast experience, guests enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast served each morning in our elegant dining room, complete with fine china, fresh flowers, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, pastries, and made-to-order eggs.

Scarritt House is also home to our friendly doodle, Lola, and our cat, Mickey. We live on the property and are available to help make your stay comfortable while respecting your privacy.

The property was gorgeous, clean and very well appointed

We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were fabulous and the hosts (Maribel and her husband John) were incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend this rental for those looking for charm and an authentic Tucson experience.

One of the best places we've ever stayed. Maribel is absolutely delightful and a wonderful hostess, the house was beautiful and immaculately maintained. We enjoyed an outdoor breakfast watching birds and wildlife in the beautiful gardens. We hope to have the opportunity to stay there again.

Beautiful safe property

Great rooms, really clean! Beautiful, walkable grounds! Maribel, your hostess is most gracious and accommodating! We were there on business and she gave us space but was also there when we had questions. Awesome Internet too!

Sherrit House- Unique luxurious B&B, central, private and comfortable

Great accommodations with nice attention to house's character. Garden is unique in size and in cactus variety. Wonderful owners and a very pleasant stay. Top notch. Note: VRBO's request to comment indicates Omni Tucson National Golf Resort however our review is for the Sherrit House.

Very Nice

Beautiful Hacienda with gracious hospitality

Our trip to Tucson was enhanced by both the beautiful home we stayed in and the very exceptional, gracious hospitality we experienced by our hosts. From the gardens to the artwork and beautifully prepared breakfasts we were well taken care of. Our hostess even provided tea and aroma therapy at the end of the evening. This is a unique property and a very special retreat experience.

Serene Get Away

We found it a great place to relax and share the mix of cultures, of Asian and Latino. It was a great place to enjoy the tranquil desert gardens. Maribel and her husband John were the perfect hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the Tucson area and were helpful steering us to local attractions. The house and grounds were perfect for our week of relaxation, and we wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place to enjoy the city and nature.

Beautiful home and very friendly hosts

Maribel and John have a beautiful, historic home and I felt fortunate to have them share it with me. The historic Scarritt House has been beautifully maintained inside and out. Sitting on the patio in the morning looking out over the acres of desert plants filled with quail, rabbits, and other wildlife while enjoying breakfast and views of the mountains was a great way to start your day. Access to the property was easy and the bedroom was very comfortable. Highly recommend this property!

Great place & great host!

If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the nature and city life - look no more! Maribel's place is it. We spent 4 nights in this lovely B&B. Maribel is an amazing host - she is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated, the bed is super comfortable, the nature garden is amazing, and her pets are adorable. We enjoyed having the breakfast in the terrace every morning with freshly made coffee, watching and listening to birds. Marible's place is very close to everything - downtown, restaurants, stores, parks, and Pima Air and Space Museum. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Tucson. An absolute gem

Scarritt House is an absolute gem. This was the first time we used VRBO and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our hosts were welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. From fantastic breakfasts on the patio overlooking the mountains to assuring creature comforts to great tourist and dining suggestions Maribel was on top of it all. The lovely home and gardens on this 4 acre property are truly unique and located conveniently in the middle of the city. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay. There is no question that our next trip to Tucson will include a stay at Scarritt House.

New Favorite in Tucson

My stay at Scarritt House was much more than I expected. The home lives up to the beautiful pictures and is even more beautiful, comfortable and pleasurable than I have stayed in before. I stayed for a week and had originally booked for one person but soon before I actually arrived, my friend decided to join me for part of the week. I was lucky in the fact that Maribel was able to give me the room of my choice. A very nicely appointed room with comfortable queen bed, beautiful modern bathroom and really delicious filling breakfasts. We were able to eat outside almost every morning with the relaxing cactus garden and mountains as our view and the birds and bunnies as our morning companions. Maribel and John's home has been beautifully updated to keep the original western vibe but with modernized kitchen and bathrooms. With their almost 4 acres right in the city of Tucson, it's like your own private oasis. They've added a rooftop deck to get above it all and at night or early morning, it's the perfect place to view the stars or the mountains sunrises. I cannot say enough about the gracious, sweet, organized and caring hostess, Maribel. She and her husband Dr. John have given their beautiful, lovingly renovated historical home to us to stay and visit and relax in Tucson. Thank you.

Excellent and interesting property with gracious host.

Everything about this property is interesting, including the lovely decor and fascinating landscaping. It is situated in a very quiet location that seems remote but is within minutes of shopping, canyons and local attractions such as the Desert Museum. Everything about our visit was exceptional.
