Birding and hiking at Mesa Verde

Loved the space! The deck was comfy and we saw lots of bird action. The kitchen and dining areas were nice, but the sunroom didn’t have any furniture in it. Over all, we had a fantastic vacation!

Your house was in a perfect location to Mesa Verde and stores. If your older, like we all are, there is a lot of up and down stairs. And a night light by the bed would be nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing rental!

Beautiful modern house, inside and out. Very nice appliances and features. Kids loved playing badminton in the grassy yard and watching the stars from the back deck! Very quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. Wish we could have stayed longer. There are a lot of steps/stairs inside if someone is mobility challenged.

We felt Cortez would be an excellent location to visit some of the National parks and this home was perfect, The kitchen was spacious and everything for meal preparation was at hand. Great family stay!

We loved this place! It had a very unique design. Lots of levels and stairs and lofts and landings. It had plenty of sleeping areas and worked perfect for our 2 families. The kitchen was stocked, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. We loved that it was far enough out of cortez to be quiet and the night sky was beautiful but it was so close to town and mesa verde. We did struggle to find it, so you need to follow the directions the hosts gives very closely, not GPS. We missed a turn and were off in the boomies. We'd stay here again!

Now, in their retirement, Kent and Sherry are excited to share their cherished retreat with you. They wanted to share their love for the area with others and recently decided to join the VRBO/AIRBNB family. They have stayed at numerous VRBO’s and AIRBNBs over the years and tried to learn the does and don’ts from each one. What they love the most about staying at a home during vacation is that we get to spend time with those with whom we are traveling, and we get to cook our own meals if we choose! We want this to be a place where families can gather and enjoy the numerous attractions the area has to offer and most of all enjoy their time together!
