About this property
3BR Sleeps 8 | Mountain Views | Sauna & Pool
High Chalet 5304 sits near the top of the highest condo complex in Gatlinburg. The balcony looks out over the mountains and down the valley, and there is nothing built above you to get in the way of the incredible view.
Three bedrooms, sleeping eight. Two king rooms on the main floor, two twin beds up in the loft, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Two bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining table seats four, so a group of eight will want to spread out between the table and the living room. There's a gas fireplace that runs October through March, wifi, air conditioning, and a desk if you need to get an hour of work done.
The complex is better equipped than most. There's a sauna, and a community center with a game room holding a foosball table, shuffleboard and board games. Communal hot tubs are open year round. The outdoor pool runs Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Getting around from here: it's about ten minutes to the national park entrance, and three and a half miles down to traffic light #10 on the Gatlinburg strip. The Island is twelve miles and Dollywood fourteen. Parking on site is free.
Your stay includes $940.00 in complimentary activities. Just by booking with us, you’ll receive free tickets, every day of your stay to top activities like Dollywood, Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, and more. (One free admission per activity, per day)
Worth knowing before you book - The condo is on the third floor and the building has no elevator. If you're arriving with eight people's luggage, that's three flights, and it's worth planning for. - Laundry is a shared facility on the second floor of each building rather than in the unit. - The hot tubs and the pool belong to the complex, not to this condo, so they're shared with other guests and they run on the complex's schedule. - This is the highest complex in the area, which is where the views come from and also why the road up is steep. We strongly recommend AWD or 4WD between roughly November and March.

5 stars doesn’t do this place justice. The view from the room was stunning. It’s so close to downtown gatlinburg and the mountains roads were breathtaking. The host was so nice and made the trip feel special. I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience in any way.
Great view from the condo, located at the very top of a long winding road. Space was good for us, a couple with a 4 year old. For the price it was ok, a bit dated and a little beat up but it worked for us for the 2 nights we stayed.
Communication and check in was amazing. It was very comfortable and the view was great. The only problems that we ran into was some areas of the cabin were not very clean, and the kitchen did not have many cooking utensils. We did not mind the lack of kitchen utensils provided, however it would have been nice to have known ahead of time to bring some cookware. Overall it was a great stay and looking forward we hope to be back!
It was an awesome vacation. Especially appreciated the easy communication. You have a beautiful place that fit our group perfectly!! Thank you for everything
My biggest disappointment was I thought I was renting a separate cabin.... not a condo but everything was nice. We did find at night it got extremely hot.
Had a pleasant stay. It would be a cherry on top if the hosts provided coffee as it is difficult to get down the mountain. Although, the hosts were upfront about all the things they were providing and not providing. Overall, it was fun!
The unit is a little bit older than expected, but you can't beat the value and location. Plenty of space for our family. Beautiful views! Property managers communicated frequently and responded promptly. Check in instructions were a breeze. Would stay here again.
The drive up was a little rough but that was expected because we were staying in the mountains. I had an issue with the dishwasher. The host was quick to respond. The views were nice. We saw a bear but felt safe
Place and location are good. House is clean But we had issues with having flush working in one of the bathrooms. Host was able to arrange a maintenance person to fix it the next day which did work temporarily, we had issues again the next morning and all the guests ended up using other bathroom. This overall experience of us to handle the toilet was frustrating besides that the place is good.
We needed a place for just a night. The place was wonderful. A balcony attached to our room and we were able to watch the sun rise over the mountains! It was a wonderful sight. The place itself was clean, slightly worn.. I assume because of the amount of travelers looking to stay. The pool is open until 11pm which was perfect for us after coming back from dinner. My oldest daughter took the upstairs bedroom and the younger three shared the smaller bedroom. There were plenty of towels, kitchen had everything we needed except the coffee pot was just a regular and we only had K cups. This was no big deal as we probably just didn’t read it the description. Also, when putting in the address make sure to select Gatlinburg. Another address popped up and it ended up being a whole different property. We all laughed at our own mistake and we’re still grateful for the views while driving. Overall a nice little stay. It was perfect for what we needed!
Overall the place was a great stay. The condo itself definitely needs a fresh coat of paint. Lots of chipped paint and stains on the walls. It is definitely outdated. The location was great and easy to downtown Gatlinburg and to Pigeon Forge and had a great view. If you want to see bears this is a great spot. There were lots of bears at the condo that we saw and on the road leading to the condo. The host was great and communication was easy and check in was a breeze.
We had a wonderful stay! The condo was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host’s communication was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free.The community pool and hot tub were a great bonus, and the views were absolutely beautiful, both from the balcony and during the drive up the mountain. The road to the condo is long and winding, but the scenery makes it worth it.There are stairs to access the condo, so keep that in mind if mobility is a concern. Also, be sure to watch for bears while driving up and down the mountain, we saw several!Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.
