La Cabaña Escondida...the Perfect, Private Getaway

Our beautiful Davis Mountains surround this cozy cabin, nestled in Limpia Canyon, just minutes from downtown Fort Davis and located on part of the historic Sproul Ranch! The cabin sleeps four in a one king bed/one bath, including full-size sleeper sofa in living area. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Two covered porches (back porch screened) provide the perfect spot for entertaining, bird watching, star gazing, reading and relaxing. Come sit back, relax, enjoy the views, and take a hike!

Welcome to the Sproul Family Ranch, located in the heart of the beautiful Davis Mountains! The original Sproul Ranch was founded in 1886 by Robert Stuart Sproul. Over 130 years later, the ranch is still a working cattle ranch, owned and operated by the fourth, fifth and sixth generations of Sproul descendants.

Why they chose this property

We love Limpia Canyon and want to share a piece of our paradise with you! We built the cabin in 1998 so that people could come experience the serenity and majesty of the Davis Mountains.
