Our all-ages family gathering of 13 people, including grandparents and four children ages 5–9, had an absolutely perfect weekend at this incredibly spacious, gracious, luxurious and welcoming house. Worth every penny.Even though the weather in early May was less than ideal with some rain and fog, the house accommodated inside activities with ease — multiple sitting areas, a grand staircase, and a long covered porch facing the bay with plenty of rocking chairs, a swing and cushioned sofas. The dining room is huge with a table that easily seats 14. The well-equipped kitchen is extensive with three sinks and two dishwashers. There is a large grill outside the kitchen and another in the pool area.While it was chilly for the pool, we made excellent use of the very large in-ground hot tub. Kids had plenty of lawn to run around on and there was even a swing set. The bedrooms have excellent comfy beds and high-end linens. Five bedrooms have their own bathrooms, each with two terry cloth robes available, and more robes in the linen closet. The kids loved the "bunk room" — two bunk beds with full-size top and bottom bunks, not the normal twin.The house is a vintage Hamptons summer house beautifully renovated keeping the old house feel while providing top notch new plumbing and lighting. Everything is spotless. Amenities we never had time for included a tennis court. The hosts are invariably kind, helpful, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend!!
