The cozy Master bedroom feature a king size bed, with a smart tv and extra bedding. The loft has two more twin beds and a game area for playing games with the family or the perfect hideout for the kiddos.
Enjoy the moody cabin vibes of the living room with an additional queen bed for extra comfort and huge windows looking over 1-acre of beautiful trees and privacy. The newly renovated open concept kitchen has a huge island, making it easy to converse with your family and friends.
This lovely property also offers a remodeled bathroom with a walk-in shower in the main bedroom. ⭐️(Please note the only bathroom is located in the master bedroom).
The Durango/Silverton Train is located 15 minutes from the property. You will also find Lemon Reservoir and Vallecito Lake just up the road. This is a mountain paradise for those looking to relax in the amazing hot tub while star gazing or to explore the many trails and outdoor activities! ⭐️Please read the FULL listing description and rules before booking

✅ Water is supplied by an in-ground 1200 gallon cistern; It is filled weekly. Please be water conservative.

✅ Driving/Parking: Please be advised that the house is located on a dirt road and the area can get heavy snow, 4WD is REQUIRED from November-May. The county does plow the roads and we do plow the driveway, however we are not held responsible for any unforeseen weather issues.

✅ This house is easily found on google/apple maps however, you will NOT have cell service until you reach the property. Please make sure to check that information before heading up in order to ensure a smooth and easy entrance into the house.

What a great stay! The property was exactly as described. It took us a minute to figure out the light switches but it was a great vacation. The property was located a ways from town so you had to drive in but it was peaceful. Thanks!

Everything You Could Ask For!!

The property was even better than advertised! They thought of everything - fans, robes for the hot tub, a snack/water basket, extra blankets and pillows, games…..we LOVED it. We decided to cook our meals and every single pot/pan/utensil was there. It was spacious, well decorated, and so cozy & cute. Gorgeous views and so quiet and peaceful. Would recommend this property over and over. Can’t say enough about our stay!

The Durango-Silverton Train

We booked the Chalet because it seemed like an out of the way, tranquill place, up in the mountains, yet not too far from Durango. And that is exactly what it is. Just a lovely, comfortable little place, with the bonus of a hot tub!! We went to Durango mainly to ride the train and spend some time in the mountains. We had a wonderful time and Lindsey was a wonderful host and attentive to our needs.

We had such a great time here - the cabin is exactly as pictured. Just as nice and new as the photos show. They also went above and beyond any other rental we’ve ever stayed at as far as stocking the house with things you need - dish soap, shampoo and conditioner, olive oil and seasonings, Tupperware, coffee, a pack and play. It’s a quick drive in to Durango. Just note that the ladder up to the loft is really steep. My 5 and 3 year olds figured it out but only climbed with supervision. Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of with your kids! They did love the loft area. Would absolutely stay again!
