We enjoyed our stay here. Only comment, very loud neighborhood dogs barking until all hours of the night but we were able to mask the sound with the air conditioning fan, so it was fine. When we are back in this area, we will definitely check the availability at this location before all others.

Property was a good base to explore the area. Well stocked kitchen and grill was practically brand new. Really appreciate the opportunity to grill out.Property was just as described. The only issue would be since it's cooled by window A/C, bugs and moths seem to find a way inside. Nothing that bites, just a little annoying.

The listing was accurate, home was clean and bed was comfortable. My dogs did zoomies in the large fenced in backyard until they passed out from exhaustion. We discovered on night one that the neighbors have dogs that they keep outside and they are barkers. I can sleep through anything, my husband cannot. So that was a pretty restless first night for him. If the sound of the air conditioner doesnt bother you, that'd a welcomed distractoe from the dogs barking, if not, maybe ear plugs could help.

Charming Country Getaway

This property had everything we needed. There was coffee, creamer, spices, laundry detergent and plenty of towels. It was great!!!!Comfortable beds, clean and cozy. We were surrounded by forest and nature.

Quiet and luxury

My family found the property to be accommodating. It was easy to find. A couple steps to get up on the large deck. I think a couple nice chairs on the front porch would have made the perfect place to sip on some coffee. The house was very clean! The kitchen was stocked well. The only disappointment was not having a grill. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean with nice lighting. The shower/tub temperature control took a little figuring out but worked well. This home is rural and perfect for quiet nights and using ATV trails. We planned on bringing our puppy but changed our mind (pup gets carsick) but found the property to be a very dog friendly. Air conditioning was on point with keeping the place cool. If you want a place that is clean, comfortable and dog accommodating this is it. Thank you for a place we could rest while traveling to meet family in Manistee, Cadillac, Leland and Traverse city.
