With the St. John’s river at your back door and Lake George just minutes away, enjoy fishing for speck or bass, kayaking, jet skiing, canoeing, or a leisure day on the boat. There are several great restaurants, pizza delivery, grocery stores and Dollar General grocery store nearby. About 30 minutes from Barberville Speedway and Downtown Deland, and an hour from Daytona Beach.Enjoy the very best nature has to offer in the Ocala National Forest..

BEDROOMS
Primary Suite: King Bed, dresser, chest of drawers, nightstands, chair, TV, ceiling fan and large walk-in closet with hangers provided. An ensuite featuring double sinks, soaking tub and shower and a private screened porch and open deck.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, dresser, nightstands, oversized closet and TV.
Bedroom 3: Three (3) full beds and one (1) twin bed, dresser, nightstands TV and ceiling fan.

BATHROOMS
Primary, guest and half bathrooms all include towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner. Primary bath has double sinks, a separate shower and huge garden tub perfect for soaking. Guest bath has a shower/tub combo.

LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM
A huge picture window looks out over the beautiful St. Johns River in the open concept living dining room. A dining table with four (4) chairs and two (2) barstools at the kitchen bar. The living space features an oversized couch, two chairs, large TV, and two (2) ceiling fans. Board games, puzzles, a blu-ray player and a wide selection of movies are provided.

KITCHEN
The eat-in kitchen features a breakfast table, refrigerator with icemaker, cooktop electric stove and oven,, microwave, Keurig coffee maker including coffee pods, toaster, cookware/dishes/utensils and almost anything you need.

GARAGE
Large 2 car garage with a screen door to provide comfortable seating outside. A half bath accessible from the backyard and washer and dryer are also provided.

OUTDOORS
Large front deck, small, screened porch and deck off the master bedroom with seating provided. Large covered/screened back porch which features a large dining table, gas grill, small fridge, games and an intimate lounge space with a fire pit table. And a beautiful view of the water. The large backyard provides space for many games which are included, and a firepit with 6 Adirondack chairs. Just steps away enjoy fishing right off the covered dock featuring a fish cleaning table with running water and power.

What a fantastic place! Five of us stayed there for four nights and we had everything we needed. The house is very nice and clean, and stocked with all the essentials. Bedrooms are great. The screen porch is large and very nice with plenty of seating, table top fire pit, tv, etc. We used it quite a bit. Outside is great with fire pit and doc to the canal. Had a great time out there and caught some fish. Our host Connie was wonderful and communication was first rate. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it!

This place is perfect, dock for our boat, we had a boat, pontoon and jet ski! All were able to park on the water in front of the house. We spent most of our time on the awesome back porch, plenty if seating for all of us. The house was well supplied to make it easy to prepare our meals.Ample parking for several families to park. Located in the 2nd cove from the ramp, super convinent! We LOVED THIS PLACE!

Spring Break Fishing and Relaxation

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to Astor. The home was as nice as we had hoped. The large screened in back porch was amazing with table and chairs for eating and patio furniture for relaxing. The boat slip was perfect for my 21'6"ft long x 8'4" wide, with about 6" to spare.The bedroom arrangements were accommodating for our family of 7. My wife and family said they would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway!

I really don’t want to let the secret out!! The house was amazing!! Great space for everyone! The house was stocked with al the necessities and more! The screen patio was great area for visiting, having coffee in the morning, dinner and cards at night! The dock was great for our boat and easy to get in and out of. Canal is easy to navigate with great access to get the river. Our family and friends had an amazing weekend.

We are local Floridians who love being on the water. We have always enjoyed staying in Astor on the St. Johns River. Whether its fishing, going to the springs or a relaxing boat ride, this is where you will find us. My Husband and I, while dating spent many weekends at the springs. As a family, our boys grew up spending weekends and summers here in Astor fishing, playing at the springs and just enjoying the water. Our plan was to always own our own piece of paradise here and we were finally able to do so in 2022. We are excited to share our home with you.

Why they chose this property

Our home is centrally located on the St. John's River. Walk across the street to Drifters Bar & Grill, a short drive to multiple restaurants, bars and grocery stores. We also offer a quick ride south on the river to Drifters, St, John's Grill, or north to multiple springs (Juniper, Silver Glen, Salt), Lake George, or Renegades. Fishing is always fruitful!

We are also minutes away from historic downtown Deland, Volusia Speedway Park; and a short ride to Daytona Beach and the Daytona international Speedway!!

What makes this property unique

In addition to being centrally located and on the water, our home boasts a peaceful view of the St John's River. With the benefit of being on a short canal, you get a view of the water and a view of the St. John's without the boat traffic noise and wake. Our outdoor fire pit makes for a relaxing evening. Or if you prefer, the oversized screened in porch boast a TV, small fridge, dining table and sitting area with a firepit table perfect for morning coffee, outside dining or just relaxing.
