We are a family of 6, four children ages 14 on up. We have been coming to Old Orchard Beach for the past 18 summers. Our children absolutely love playing on the large beach. This past summer they took up surfing lessons with the Corner Surf Shop. Blake was a fantastic instructor! He took videos and photos throughout their daily surfing lessons and posted them on his website each day. We take long walks at sunrise, 4-5 miles! If the kids are for it they join us for an early evening walk once the tide has gone back out.
My wife grew up in the next town over from Old Orchard Beach. She spent her summers as a child on this beach and dreamed of owning a property nearby. We have 4 children who have spent their summers here at our beach house. They absolutely love coming up to Old Orchard Beach, each summer. We all have fond memories. Enjoying the beach, walking into town - either Old Orchard Beach or Ocean Park. Two polar opposite towns; one loud and busy, the other a sleepy, dry town. Our property is located just 2 or 3 blocks from Ocean Park, just 50 yards in from the beach!

Lastly, the very best trip was had last summer when I packed my family in the car and drove up to Kennebek river and went white water rafting at Crab Apple White Water company. The guides are awesome, funny & attentive. The water ride itself is quite thrilling. You can jump out of the boat and coast down the river for 10 minutes toward the very end of the ride. Ideal for adults, teenagers and pre-teens, ages 10+. It is a 2.5 hour drive but so worth it! Don't leave there without bringing photos home with you as cameras are set up on the banks of the river. The photos are just priceless!!!

Why they chose this property
Most tourists who come to Maine in the summer return each year. The beaches are breath-taking. You can walk for miles and really let your mind wonder! While the water is not comparable to the temperatures of the water in the Caribbean, the wake is mild and child-friendly, most of the time...
The beaches are wide enough and long enough that you're not trampled on by other tourists. They are clean and easy to walk on. We enjoy this part of town, as it is quiet, residential, and little, to no traffic, whatsoever!
You really don't need a vehicle if you're staying at one of our properties, with the beach right in front of us, and the Downtown area, a pleasant 15 minute walk, it makes this vacation so relaxing, not having to sit in traffic.
If there is one thing we highly recommend all of our guests do at least once, is to wake up early and walk along the beach toward the pier at Sunrise. Take your coffee, your phone and your sunglasses with you, kids too, if you can get them up, you will see the most amazing sunrise!! It is truly an amazing experience.
We enjoy this section of town as we are so close to Ocean Park. The Soda Fountain is one of our favorite breakfast places to visit. We typically sit outside, on their veranda, and watch people walk on by. The owner & staff are all extremely kind & very friendly.

Splash Town USA - water park (they are attached to each other. The park is located in Saco, the town next door.
Aquaboggan theme park. More suitable for younger children. Also located in Saco.
Palace Playland - you can walk to. It is a fun themepark with amusements. It is located in front of the pier. A very pleasant 15 minute walk!
Pirates Cove - mini golf. This place is a fun favorite for my family. It is an easy 10 minute walk, it is open in the day & at night.
The Memorial Park has basketball & tennis courts and a fun playground for your younger children.

What makes this property unique
Other than having 8 two-bedroom condos just a few feet away, this property sits on an acre of land. Extremely quiet & ever so peaceful.
Ideal for one or two families, or a group of friends, to rent. Multiple families or large groups of friends may be extremely interested as we have 8 additional two-bedroom condos next door, alond with 6 one-bedroom cottages and 2 two-bedroom cottages just one short, block away.
No other property in Old Orchard Beach has so much land around it, that is so close to the beach!
The decor inside has a beach theme to it. Pictures on the wall, bed linens, furniture, furnishings & more.
The street is a cul-de-sac road, not a thru-street. The only cars that come up this street are those that belong to the home owners. It is therefore extremely safe, and very quiet, day and night.
This is an ideal beach condo. The beach is a 3-4 minute walk. Easy, therefore to run back and forth for bathroom visits, lunch breaks, etc.. All the while not having to stress about parking, feeding the meter, or having to get back into your car in order to get food, etc....
The four bedrooms are spacious airy, and well lit. They all have side tables with very cool, USB plug outlets. The queen size beds are brand new, as of March 2025.
Large, wall mounted Smart TV in the living room, set up for you to connect to your streaming network platforms, like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc..
The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and not have to leave the property to go out to dinner every night. There is a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave. And a very nice large table that sits 6 guests comfortably.
Washing machine & dryer inside the condo makes your stay increasingly splendid, as you don't have search for a laundromat or limit your stay.
