Unit 1904 - Not your average vacation home! When we discovered this magnificent townhome, it was love at first sight! With over 40 years in the hospitality/tourism field we, as owners, are very aware of the value of vacations. We are committed to you, our guests, to do all we can to make your experience on the Big Island special! While our ownership is new the property management remains the same and will continue the wonderful care that guests at Island Oasis have come to expect.

This townhouse has been professionally decorated and furnished in the latest tropical design, complete with colorful art, accessories, and luxury bedding.

#1904 has a wonderful location near the tropical lava rock waterfall swimming pool. A pleasant view from your lanai off the master bedroom or just step out from your back patio, walk a few feet and you are there! Four barbecues are available poolside for grilling up your favorites!

As the owners, overseeing the management of this amazing vacation destination, you have our assurance that our Island Oasis will provide a delightfully relaxing environment with no last-minute surprises!

Features include.......

* Modern, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with upscale appliances, granite bar and counter tops.

* Dining area with rectangular table and seating for 6.

* Spacious Living room with vaulted ceilings, plenty of comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, Flat Screen TV (300+ channels), stereo, Blu-Ray player and games for family fun. Plus, the sofa converts to a sofa-sleeper should you need another bed.

* The covered patio includes a table with 4 chairs and looks out into the lush gardens.

* The Master suite has a comfortable King size bed and a private lanai with views of the pool and lush flowering landscaping. The bedroom includes an adjacent master bath with twin sinks, oversize soaking tub and shower.

* The second bedroom is very luxurious with 2 single beds. There are sheets available if you wanted to put them together to create a second King size bed.... there is a bathroom conveniently place nearby with a tub/shower combination.

* Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and flat screen TV. There is Central Air inside should you need to cool off.

* Attached garage includes beach items, beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, as well as two 26' adult bikes, one 20' kids bike and one 16' kids bike (with training wheels!) as well as a Chariot Carrier for you to enjoy (can be attached to bike). We have also provided 2 pairs of binoculars for whale watching and/or bird viewing.

* In the entrance closet, you will find some winter jackets if you plan to view a beautiful sunset up Mauna Kea.

* WIFI throughout the house

* Unlimited phone calls to the U.S.A. and Canada give you the opportunity to keep in touch with friends, family or business as much as needed.

Family friendly as we have supplied high chair, portable crib and Chariot Carrier.

Colony Villas is a gated community with golf and beaches nearby. On-site there are two pools as well as tennis courts. If you want to work out while you are here, the fitness center is just steps away from 1904.

Golfer's will enjoy the World Class golf ... there are two 18- hole courses; the Kings and the Beach. Resort rates apply if you are staying in the resort.

This town house is managed by the ourselves (the owners), and we have a great property manager nearby should you have any needs during your vacation.

Why Victor, Mark & Carrie chose Kohala Coast

This has the best location, close to the tropical resort style pool and waterful making it truly unique! Waking up in the morning and knowing it will be another sunny day, listening to the waterfall from the pool, and being able to use it in a blink of an eye, makes this an ideal place for your vacation. Having the exquisite Anaeho'omalu ("A") Beach, the King Shops and Queen's Market so close by for shopping and dining along with spectacular golf courses, swimming pool, tennis and biking/hiking trails makes our Island Oasis a great place to recreate or just relax.

What makes this townhome unique

We find that we are very well located if we need to visit any other part of the Big Island. Kailua-Kona with it's major shopping and dining opportunities is just 25 miles south, Waikoloa Village is 7 miles away with Waimea only 29 miles and half an hour away from the Colony Villas. If you choose to explore Hilo and the beautiful rain forests and waterfalls on the eastern side of the island they're a mere 70 miles, less than an hour and a half away. Majestic Mauna Kea is along the Saddle Road that cuts across the center of the island and provides a fascinating side trip to visit the Information Center half way up the mountain. Plus, with an average of 350 days of sun per year and the nice local breeze, this place is just so perfect!

Island Oasis lives up to its name!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Oasis and wish we could have stayed longer! This spacious condo is beautifully decorated and fully equipped for any length of stay. The location of WCV #1904 is perfectly located within the complex. The pool was steps from the patio. This was our 2nd time staying at this unit and the change in ownership has been seamless. The new owners were very easy to deal with and really cared that we were having a wonderful time. We loved that the unit also provided beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler etc. along with use of the bicycles. Having the market, restaurants and shopping in the Queens and Kings Shops so close was great too. The Colony Villas property is located right on the Kings Trail walking path through the lava rocks which my family really enjoyed. The welcome basket was a really nice touch with local goodies (macadamia nuts, coffee and handmade soaps). We look forward to returning soon!

Great place to feel at home while on vacation

We love the Waikoloa area and couldn't ask for a more conveniently located place. The villa is beautiful, decorated more like a home than most rentals. Plenty of space, very clean, and nicely located within the development itself. I highly recommend this unit!

Would definitely stay here again!

This condo is extremely clean and has everything you need. If you have small children, don't worry because they have everything from pool floats to kid sized silverware. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The home is quiet and the pool is just steps away. There is a nice beach just a few miles away. We did encounter one problem. The condo is apparently changing owners and housekeeping showed up a day early and started cleaning while we were gone to the beach. We came back and the front door was wide open and a lady was upstairs doing laundry. There are no checkout instructions written in the email coorespondence or in the home. She advised that we are to start the washer with towels and sheets before we leave etc. My advice to the new owners would be to make sure you have clear checkout instructions and housekeeping/management knows the rental dates. After she left, we had to remake a bed and finish a load of laundry that she had started. We had a wallet, medicine and all of our travel belongs in the house while the door was wide open so we also double checked to make sure noting was gone. We would also recommend getting the bedroom ceiling fan light wired correctly so that you can turn on the light. The room is very dark all of the time. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property, perfect family vacation rental!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The home is beautiful and has the perfect location with the pool just steps away, and beaches and shopping near by. We were also pleased with all of the baby items and extras available for our use. The property owners were very helpful and a pleasure to rent from. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it. We could not have asked for a better vacation!!

2017 February - 100% Wonderful!

This was our second time staying in Pierre and Isabelle's lovely home and we couldn't ask for more. From its proximity to the Airport and grocery shopping, it's "step's away" poolside location in Colony Villas, a perfect spot from which to tour the island near the saddle road to Hilo, plus every possible amenity you would have in your own home, AND for a day at the beach, or sight-seeing, or a picnic ... Pierre and Isabelle have really put their heart and soul into making sure you have everything you need to relax, enjoy, and feel at home. It was lovely and we thank you!
