The Bluff House is the perfect vacation home. The home has a huge gourmet kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms each with its own private, full bathroom, ideal for three couples or a small family wanting to explore Port Angeles and the Olympic National Park. The panoramic salt water view is incredible and visible from almost every room in the house; both sunrises and sunsets are visible over the water. The house is located on a 100ft high bluff, set 40ft back from the water, so there is no better view available anywhere in Port Angeles, period. Turn around and there is a view of the Olympic Mountains looming above Port Angeles.
The location of the house is perfect for visitors. It is close to the Olympic National Park, the Discovery Trail and the downtown area of Port Angeles. It is just 4 blocks from the Victoria Ferry, 2 blocks from the Discovery Trail, 1 mile from the entrance to the national park and 5 blocks from shopping and restaurants. Your hosts can help with trail and sightseeing information, and any concerns or questions that may arise when planning your adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Look at the photos and read the reviews. The photos are all taken by us from the house itself and the reviews are all written by guests that stayed at the house (i.e. none were written by friends or family at our request). The Bluff House is the nicest vacation home in Port Angeles, perfect for a small group of up to 6 people. You will love it and want to return.

About Cindy Clark
An avid hiker and enjoyer of the outdoors, I love this area, it's people and all it has to offer. I am so happy to share our corner of the country with travelers, and the Bluff House is the perfect venue for that.
Cindy Clark purchased this House in 1990
Why Cindy Clark chose Port Angeles
We bought this property because of the amazing view but it was too small at the time for our family. Now that our kids are gone we have doubled the size of the house and made it cozy for when they return with their families.
What makes this House unique
The mountain view to the south and the water views to the north, west and east make this a unique piece of property. Eagles perch in the tree out front and the water is full of activity all the time, both natural and man-made. The kitchen has a separate wet bar, everything you need for the discerning chef and beautiful serving pieces to make you feel at home. The lights of the harbor are an enchanting sight at night and in the winter months, nothing is cozier than sitting in the warm front room watching the weather unfold in front of your eyes.

Location
There are wonderful restaurants and unique shops just blocks away in downtown PA. The Olympic National Park has limitless opportunities for adventures in nature. It has lakes, ocean beaches, tide pools, mountains, trails and some of the most incredible forests in the world. The 100+ mile Olympic Discovery Trail is 2 blocks away, offering endless distance for biking or running. (We have an official marathon every June). There are several marine sanctuaries in the area where sea life is on full view. There are alpine wildflowers to rival anything in the Alps. Lakes and rivers that are clear and cold highlight many hikes and the Hoh Rainforest is a world treasure with its Hall of Mosses and some of the biggest trees in the world. Rainfall varies throughout the different environments from 15 inches a year to over 180, so you can imagine the variety of plants and microclimes. There are wild ocean beaches that inspire awe and quiet forest glens that make you sigh. One of the quietest places on earth is within Olympic National Park. Recently, 2 dams have been removed from the Elwah River which will be a grand experiment to try and revitalize one of the country's largest salmon runs. Vestiges of the now-gone lakes are open for exploring as well as the area where the river meets the salt water. On a recent day, there were upwards of 40 bald eagles at the mouth of the river, plus 30 to 40 seals, all checking out the menu of seabirds and fish.
