The outdoor bar and kitchen area includes a gas grill, side burner, and a beer/wine cooler – perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze and the sounds of the waves.

Samara Reefs is a special place. Views are spectacular. Houses are very private. We saw lots of wildlife, including macaws and howler monkeys. Leoni, the property manager was on time and responsive. Also, the guidebook she provided was helpful in choosing activities and restaurants.

Definitely a 5 star stay! Leonie was an excellent host. We had a fantastic time deep sea fishing, ATV riding, and plenty of beach time. Barrigona beach was our favorite!!! Vilma made us excellent food during our stay. One of the most memorable moments was walking into the house the first time at sunset and seeing the most incredible view. It took our breath away!

Costa Rican Paradise

Villa Vista was fabulous, right next to the Macaw House. The Macaws provided ample entertainment for all of us. The pool and house are just how they look in the pictures! We plan to return we loved it so much.

Beautiful home with an extraordinary view from the pool and deck area that makes up for some minor issues experienced during the stay. This property is amazing! We enjoyed hanging out in the pool and sitting on the patio in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. We walked to the beach, visited the farmers market, and went into town several times for meals and shopping. Leonie made check in and check out very easy and had great suggestions for things to do and places to shop and eat. It was the perfect stay!

Amazing home with breathtaking view. Kitchen fully stocked. We had iguanas coming up to say hi daily. Macaws hung out in the trees and the monkeys were howling, although not as easy to spot. Kids loved the pool as I BBQ'd and drank a Pina Colada. Can't say anything bad about this place. Easy to get in and out of and easy to get into town. Loved it.

Beautiful property with breath taking views. Inconvenienced by a broken dryer that we were only told about during check in. Found mugs with lipstick on them and bed had sand in it the first night (had not used the sheets yet). The property manager was great about helping set up excursions and answering any questions we had. Loved sitting on the back patio while the storms blew in. Plenty of pots and pans to easily cook in the kitchen.

Incredible Views; Incredible Stay!

My husband and I along with another couple just spent two relaxing week in this lovely property! The ocean view over the infinity pool is one-of-a-kind! The area around the pool, which is surrounded by lovely gardens, and the covered patio lets you stay outside all day. Inside, the main areas are spacious and well laid out. Due to the steepness of the road and traffic, we ended up driving to the beach ( 3 min.) which was easy and there was always parking. More beaches are nearby and the town of Samara is filled with small, local eating places, bars, coffee places and shops.

We just returned from an incredible trip to Costa Rica, and we couldn't be happier with our stay. The home was absolutely beautiful--immaculate, spacious, and even more stunning than the photos on VRBO. The infinity pool was a dream, and the entire setting was perfect for a truly relaxing and wonderful getaway.From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful welcome basket of fresh fruit and local coffee was a lovely touch--we were so grateful for it. Leone our host was warm, helpful, and kind. She also gave us restaurant recommendations, which we tried and every one of them were delicious.We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful luxurious escape in Samara. Great Getaway

My husband and I needed a get away and this was perfect. The house is very private other than the daily gardener visits. We were able to find a local fisherman and got fresh fish and cooked at the house most nights. Leonie provided a lot of links for places to go and was very responsive.

A week in paradise

This was a week long vacation with my husband, our 2 adult boys and their wives. I will never forget the expressions on their faces when they entered the house and saw the view. The house, grounds and pool area are beautiful and the view is simply spectacular. Leonie, was very helpful with recommendations on activities, restaurants, beaches, etc. She truly went out of her way to make our vacation unforgettable.We will definitely come back.
