Great stay but lacking in some details
We had a great time at Wanderlust. We spent a week with our two teens. We thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs game room. We played darts, pool, and ping pong and the kids had a great hang-out area Their bedrooms were off the game room area downstairs. The hot tub was great! We used that several nights. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were some details that could use improvement, and we felt the property description was not completely accurate.The house was a little dirty, including the couches, inside and out, and lots of cobwebs in corners and dirty vents. The listing states it sleeps 9, but the kitchen isn't really equipped for that many. We had 4 in our group, so it worked for us, but not sure there's enough dishes, cutlery, etc., for a big group. We usually cook on vacation but didn't this time because there was 1 steak knife in the house, and although the listing said there was a dining area, that consisted of 4 bar stools at the kitchen island. Again, it worked for us, but a bigger group might have a problem. There are 6 TVs at the property but only 1 worked when we got there, and we only got one other to work after going back and forth one day with the owner to get it activated. The listing also states sprawling views, but it's really in the trees. Maybe the views are better in the fall and winter. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It's a lovely home, but a few items could use a little attention.
