The host was incredibly nice and helpful. The apartment was clean, safe neighborhood, comfortable and exactly as described. I would highly recommend staying at this property.
Everything from the booking, to the communication, to the stay was easy and stress free. The house was fully stocked, cozy, and a comfortable stay for our family. We were warned about the spa issues but I don’t think the owner knew about the jacuzzi tub not working because the communication was so great. I would definitely book this place again because it felt like a home away from home.
Beautiful location! Loved just hanging out by the river with our feet in the water! Beautiful home and clean! Slept with the windows open to hear the river all night! Will be booking again next year!
Lovely cabin right on the river. Our family of 5 and my father enjoyed our stay. We fished, enjoyed the porch, the cozy cabin and loved the campfire pit. The cabin was well stocked with new quality cookware and utensils. The cabin was clean and have comfortable beds and bedding. Amanda the host was responsive and available if needed. The cabin was easy to get to and less than a 2 mile drive to downtown Helen.
The house and property were just gorgeous. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. Amanda was great to communicate with. She gave recommendations on some of the best places to eat and the must do’s when visiting Helen for the first time. I would definitely recommend staying at their perfect place.
This cabin was perfect for us. Close to downtown Helen but far enough away to be relaxing. The cabin was spotless and the amenities were excellent. The only distraction was Hwy 75. You could not ask for a better communicator than this homeowner. She answered every question immediately. Excellent.
The perfect spot! We put our tubes in at the house and floated all the way to downtown. About a 2 hour float. Great spot for fishing. My son caught a little bass and we saw multiple trout. We loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs. The kitchen has wonderful new pans and utensils which is rare in a rental. Loved the comfy sofa with the huge tv in the living room. Bedding was super soft. We will be back!
The house was everything we could ask for. Getting up each day to spend an hour just watching and listening to the River sipping coffee was fantastic. Same for after dinner.Secluded enough for our peace and close enough to everything busy.Amanda was very responsive and on top of everything. We talked about going back in the fall!
We choose this place to stay in Helen, Georgia. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary. The house is exactly how described and the owner is the easiest to work with and answers any and all questions you may have in a quick manner. Not a complaint because it’s beautiful and we loved the sound of the river by the house but there is a main highway as well. It can get very busy. The people passing were always waving and blowing the horn. lol We would definitely choose this place again if we are ever back in the Helen area!!
The house and property were lovely. The kitchen had more supplies than I expected. We appreciated how well lit it was around the outside of the house at night. The beds were also very comfortable.
