Old School Fun At Lake Mont Pines Creekside Cabin

Our Creekside cabin is the perfect escape for those looking to relax with some old-school fun. Great for one large family or multiple families. The cabin sits on a beautiful tree-filled lot with Cowell Creek winding through it. Cross the creek and you are standing in the Stanislaus National Forest with miles and miles of beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails. Follow the creek back a quarter mile and you are at Lake Mont Pines.

Relax by the fireplace in the living room and watch the snow fall through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Cook up a big pot of soup and pop some popcorn on the wood stove. Chill out in the bar and browse the 300+ vinyl collection (includes rock, jazz, classical, funk, blues).

Fun for the kids includes a large collection of games, puzzles, toys, a piano, and costumes. Relax on one of the decks among the 200 ft tall trees while the kids play in the creek, explore the back yard, or put on a play - the backyard includes a stage complete with stage lights for evening performances.

The two-story house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a family room, rec room, bar, large kitchen, and two fire places. Appliances include a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, double oven, and grill. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and entertaining. The rental includes linens and towels, and free Wi-Fi.

A canoe is stored at the lake during summer months. Plus you have full access to the Lake Mont Pines rec center, a private beach with free activities including kayaks, paddle boats, shuffle board, sand toys, beach volleyball, and ping pong tables. Free Lake Mont Pines summer activities include outdoor movie nights, sand castle contests, and arts and crafts.

For winter fun we have sleds and snow shoes. The hill out the side door makes for great sledding, as do the fire roads across the creek.

Maximum 12 guests, pets ok (with restrictions), no smoking.

This is our favorite VRBO in Arnold. My siblings and I grew up going to Lakemont Pines and love giving our kids the same memories. The kids play non stop and the rental is perfect for our large family.

What a special cabin. Our kids loved playing by the creek and walking to the lake for some water fun. The whole family appreciated a rich vinyl collection and gathered around the projector for some quality movie time. Very well stocked with anything from a full kitchen to games for every age. Fun family home

Excellent location for the area, short walk across the property to plenty of hiking trails. The kids enjoyed the zip line, trails and musical instruments. The home is spacious enough for multiple families. Everyone enjoyed the trip. The only downside is we had to dispose of our own trash, at the end of our stay. I would still highly recommend this home.

Beautiful, spacious, rockin’ cabin!

This is our second stay at this cabin and the whole family loved it! Clean, comfortable, furnished well, and plenty of space for all the adults/kids. The kids loved the outdoor area (zip line, tire swing, and so much nature to explore!). We all especially love all the instruments and music they have, lots of family jams were had! Can’t recommend this spot enough and look forward to our next visit :)

Awesome stay in the mountains

We loved this property! There was more than enough room for our large group with plenty to do. The kids loved playing in the creek while the adults enjoyed the extensive record collection. Proximity to the lake as well as hiking trails made for pleasant afternoon adventures. For those that needed internet, that was speedy as well and assisted nearly everyone that didn’t have cell coverage. Would stay here again!

Snow adventure 2023

This is our third time renting this cabin, we always get lucky that the cabin is available on the days that we need it. My family absolutely loves this cabin. Pleasant Stay In Arnold

The setting is beautiful. The house has a great layout with separate areas for people to spread out. It’s stocked with everything you need for outdoor fun. Our grandchildren loved the zip line and playing some of the many games that were available. Cell phone service is sketchy.

Daughter 13th small trip

We had a great time it was 9 of us and we had a great time celebrating my daughter 13 th birthday this is our 3rd time my daughter loves coming to this cabin it a plus that its wheelchair accessible just with a small ramp and your able to get in . Im in a wheelchair and was able to get in the house with my ramp overall we had a great time
