The Space:

Welcome to the Treehouse, a modern ranch-style guesthouse with spectacular Hill Country views. Located on Jumping Goat Ranch, this newly built, private 1br/1ba is truly a retreat to relax and reconnect. Built around one of the many amazing trees on the property, you'll enjoy gorgeous views on the porch under its canopy of leaves.



Curl up in the cozy reading nook where you can soak in the fantastic views from the picture window, relax in the private hot tub, and lounge in the luxurious king-size bed. All a quick 15 minutes from Fredericksburg’s historic Main St and 10 minutes to award-winning wineries. Hosted by Porch Light Hospitality.

We have Pest control schedule quarterly but due the house being outside in the hill country, you may have several encounters with the critters during your stay.

Perfect stay! This place has everything you need for a quiet, quaint getaway. We enjoyed it all, from the beautiful scenery to the relaxing hot tub. We wanted to stay in the beautiful hill country, and this was exactly what we were looking for. It was still close to so many attractions and just a short drive to Fredericksburg. Thanks to the hosts, for making it a great 25th anniversary stay for us. We can't wait to stay here again.

Me and my husband loved staying at the treehouse! Loved the location, it was secluded and quiet but a quick and easy drive into town. Literally perfect for a weekend trip. Kitchen was stocked with just the right things you would daily need, very clean, lots of towels, great shower pressure, good WiFi and comfy bed but you still felt like you were “out”,very private! Good communication fromHost without ever seeing anyone or needing anything! Not to mention they didnt give us a list of chores to do at checkout and then charge me a crazy cleaning fee, rare these days! But a little thing that is noticed. Thanks for the great and cozy stay!

This was generally a big disappointment, but I need to explain. The owners are lovely. The property manager, Porch Light, did not handle the issue well. The hot tub was broken and Porch Light was responsible for telling us and didn't. When I contacted Porch Light immediately upon discovering the issue, they called and said they did know about the issue and didn't get to tell us, so they could give us a small refund later after checkout. That was unclear and concerning, and after asking a few questions and not receiving a response, we contacted VRBO directly and got a much better response. The owner came down to see us while this was going on and was truly sorry about the issue and thought Porch Light had told us.We left the property with a full refund through VRBO and found somewhere else to stay.Here is my advice-- this is a cute place, and, if the hot tub works, definitely stay here! But I discourage you from renting anything that Porch Light manages. Their communication was unclear and unpredictable, and when they found out that we want to VRBO for the refund, they were rude andcondescending on the phone.Again, the owner was great and the place is very cute. We just had a bad experience with the property manager.

Perfection!

It’s hard to talk about the stay without gushing. Hands down the best rental experience we’ve had. The place was cute af for starters. Beautiful, private, clean and comfy. Every single detail was thought of. Every accoutrement was right there. It was kinda mind blowing. The bed was incredible. So was the hot tub and fire pit. I seriously can’t give enough praise and we are hoping this party has more properties to rent for our next trip. 19/10 obsessed!
