Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement! "The Beach House" est un chalet des annĂ©es 1920 au cƓur de la plage de Jacksonville. À quelques pas de l'ocĂ©an et Ă  deux pĂątĂ©s de maisons du centre-ville, oĂč un calendrier complet de concerts, de films, de restaurants et de festivals offre quelque chose pour tout le monde. Le coeur de la Maison de la plage est le porche complet (200 sf) en face oĂč vous pouvez passer la journĂ©e en regardant les amateurs de plage, les cyclistes, les patins Ă  rouler, et al. We love this beach house!

This is our 5th stay, and we'll keep coming back. It has everything we need for comfort and enjoyment. We especially love the front screened-in porch, where we watch all the interesting people out walking, riding, dancing, and generally enjoying the warm weather on First Street.

Great Spot

Enjoyed our stay here to celebrate the 4th of July. Perfectly located by the beach and we were able to watch the fireworks from the front patio without having to worry about parking or other people. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great family vacation spot

We had a great stay! The property manager was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The house also came with everything we needed the entire stay - including small perks like coffee and wine! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location for Beach Stay in Jax

We had a great time staying at the beach cottage. It is a perfect location to be right in the mix of things and so close to the beach. The layout is cute and has everything you can think of to use for cooking, beaching, and having a great time!

Location, location, location

Short stay, wonderful cottage just yards from the beach. Property was well-managed, everything in place, and quite a nice place to stay. The owner was great and easy to contact, we’ll be back.

Beach therapy

We had a lovely stay at this cute beach cottage. I was recovering from brain surgery and needed to stay close to the hospital. The beach neighborhood provided the perfect Vitamin Sea therapy as I regained my strength. Communication with Darlene was quick and she answered all our questions. We would highly recommend this property.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Historically Jacksonville Beach has served as a 'Summer Home' community to citizens of the City of Jacksonville. My wife grew up in Jacksonville and had fond memories of spending wonderful summer weekends at Jacksonville Beach with friends and family. Since that time we have restored most of the house to original condition (keeping original 1920's hardwood floors inside and on the 200 sq. ft. front screened porch and the original beadboard on the walls and ceiling), while striving to keep the original charm of this cottage.

Proximity to Atlantic Ocean and beach, downtown Jacksonville Beach with many great bars and restaurants, the City's oceanfront band shell which hosts multiple festivals throughout the year, including 'Springing the Blues', Sandcastle contest, Annual Opening of the Beach which includes a festive parade and family oriented outdoor 'Moonlight Movies'.
