Welcome to the Market Street Suite located in the very heart of beautiful Charleston! Our location is second to none! We are immediately across from the City Market, the best location in historic downtown.
This slice of heaven is the ideal place for a romantic getaway, a couple's weekend retreat or a memorable celebration of life.
Our suite has been especially sought after with honeymooners, guests celebrating their anniversaries, birthdays and engagements and visitors who enjoy the superb location.
Park your car (self-parking at a discounted rate is available in a covered and camera secured garage only one block from the suites) and never get back in it if dining in the many acclaimed restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, antiquing and discovering the splendor and beauty of Charleston is your goal.
We offer a 5 star deluxe suite that has been lovingly restored to keep the elegance of yesteryear with all the modern luxuries and conveniences. The suite is charming, well appointed, private (only two suites in our building) and secure (multiple key less entry locks). A custom kitchenette is available in your room with a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishes and utensils. We provide soaps and towels, coffee, water, chocolates, Biscotti and a bottle of wine to welcome you! You are sure to enjoy sweet dreams in our queen plush pillow top mattress dressed with 1800 (!) count linens.
Relax on our cozy slate patio or in the sitting area in the foyer, a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine, to read a book on Charleston or to catch up on your emails using our free WiFi.

About Terri and Carl
While visiting the area in 1998 we fell in love with the charm of this historic city and its surroundings, the Southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle and decided to move here and make it home! We love it more each year. We opened One of a Kind Gallery the year we moved to Charleston. One of a Kind features art and fine crafts from nationally acclaimed artists as well as art by regional and local artisans. We have decorated the suite with lovely original art by artisans from this region. The gallery is located on the same street as the suite, only a few doors down. Let's keep it all on the same block! ;)

What makes this Studio unique
The building has a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop on the ground floor and opens up to a charming courtyard in the back. There is a complimentary trolley that stops immediately in front of our building and takes you anywhere you could want to go downtown. Bike taxis and horse drawn carriages are just outside our building and a popular way of getting around to discover Charleston's historic treasures and landmarks.

Comfortable stay & great location!
This is a perfect stopping off point if you want to be in the heart of Charleston. You are steps away from shops, restaurants, historic sites & so much more. Can get a little noisy at night, but if you want the convenience of being close, that’s a small price to pay. The studio was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable for two. Terri & Carl have done a very nice job with the place - we would recommend to other couples who love to sight see & explore!

Fantastic Location Particulary if You Like to Walk
The location is great. If you like history, architecture and walking, then you don’t need a car. Just Uber from airport to the suite and you’re good to go. Within blocks you will find the beautiful homes, some 200-300 years old, and any type of restaurant you can imagine. You are directly across the street from the historic market. You are just blocks from excellent shopping on King St. Unless you really need a car I would suggest simply Ubering as parking is difficult and getting around in the historic district is a bit tricky with all the one-ways and narrow streets. I’ll say again, if you like to walk, this is the best location - relatively close to everything and in those rare circumstances that you need a car (for us it was going to the Boone Plantation) we simply Uberd it, were picked up 7 minutes later, spent the day at the plantation, Uber the return trip back, took 6 minutes for our car to arrive, very reasonable prices - far better than the hassle of a rental. The suite was very nice, everything we needed, though we weren’t at the room very much. We really liked the comfortable bed and linens. Checking in and out was a snap. The suite felt very secure, in fact we never had any concerns anywhere we went, and we went everywhere. Have fun, it will be hard not too, as Charleston is a great city.

This was the absolute perfect location. Everything within walking distance. Overlooks the City Market. The room was clean and very cozy. Comfy bed and great linens. Everything you need! Owners are fantastic to work with! We will stay again.
This place was pretty much perfect. The location is unbeatable but beyond that it’s exremely well done inside. The bed was very comfortable and the condo has all the amenities you would ever need while staying there. You can definitely tell that this place is well maintained and taken care of. We can’t wait to return!
Heart of downtown, located on North Market Street across from the historical Charleston City Market. The crossroads are North Market and Meeting Street. Located 12 miles from the Charleston National Airport.
Additional information about rental rates
A 2.9% fee will be charged for CC payments and will be deducted from your security deposit. ECheck is a free service. You may also pay us direct by checks if your stay is more than two months away. Contact me direct to make arrangements. Our rates are from low season $169 per nt to high season $329 per nt. Deposit required at time of booking to secure dates. Parking is available for a reduced rate of $16 per nt in the secure Cumberland parking garage located one block from suite. We will deduct the parking fee from your $100 security deposit for your convenience. We recommend that our guests take out a traveler's insurance policy that covers your reimbursement if you should need to cancel within 60 days of your stay with us.
