Great Property and Great Owner
The room we had at the Grand Timber Lodge was perfect. Very clean place and the staff on site were just amazing and took care of any needs we had. They had an on site restaurant, ski rental store, a small convenience store, a spa, and many other offerings we didn't fully use. They had a great hot tub/spa area that was plenty large for many people after the long day skiing. They had everything you would need on site. The location was perfect and the heated parking was a plus. We really can't say enough great things about the property. Keld, the owner we rented from was awesome to work with - can't say enough good things about him as well. He communicated very well and was always on top of anything we needed through the rental process. We had a great trip and would stay here again and would work with this owner again as well. Super ski trip for our family of 4.

Grand Timber Lodge
Just returned from an amazing week at GTL. Hadnt stayed there before but were familiar with the area. Knew we wanted to be SI/SO along 4 O'Clock Run. Away from base areas, but close enough to town and lifts to make lunch at home an option. Everything about this property -- the resort in general and our specific 2B/2Bath unit was perfect. I will start with the unit itself . The master bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen + dining room, family room and 2nd bedroom and bath were all generous in size. There were 4 of us and we all had plenty of room. Not only for storage of suitcases, clothes, ski jackets, pants, helmets, etc. but just enough room to not feel like we were on top of each other and had our own space. Could house 6 easy. 8 might be a bit tight. The kitchen set up was ideal -- with all of the appliances you could need including a crock pot, blender, broiler pan, baking dishes, pizza pan, etc. These were in addition to the usual coffee pot, toaster, microwave, etc. Also very nice set up in the "starter" pack of coffee, coffee filters, sugar, creamer, etc. and a very welcome box of plastic sandwich bags. I know that seems rather trivial, but those darn bags come in really handy for covering leftovers AND taking snacks and sandwiches for lunching on the mountain. Bathrooms clean and complimentary toiletry items - soaps, lotion, conditioner, shampoo, and make up remover cloths - were all very nice and of generous size. Loved the corner jet tub in the master bathroom. Came in very handy for sore and tired skiing muscles. The resort itself is lovely and well maintained. The two pools [both indoor/outdoor] were quite a novelty to our kids who loved being able to be in the indoor pool and just swim through to the outdoor pool. Hot tubs were usually quite full after a day of skiing -- but big enough that they weren't over-crowded. The spa was perfect for a quick massage and the complimentary robes for use during our stay were a very nice touch. The Lodgepole Bar & Grill was very nice and very handy for our first night in town when no one wanted to cook. Also nice that you can purchase a bottle of wine and then cork it and take the remainder back to your condo. Loved the free shuttle -- while close enough to town to walk, after a full day of skiing the convenience of the shuttle is welcome. Onsite ski rental at Christy's was also spot on. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and equipment was great. Cant say enough great things and cant wait to go back!

We are a family of 4, living in Toronto Canada and wish we could be in Breckenridge more often

Why they chose this property

After much search and deliberation in the Rocky ski-resorts, we found no match anywhere for the luxury accommodation, yet family friendly atmosphere, amenities and convenience of the Grand Timber Lodge

What makes this property unique

To be able to ski-in/ski-out directly from the slopes on both sides is truly unique for this condo resort
