This was my second time renting off of VRBO and I am thankful that I again had a great experience. When you read about potential fraud it does make you a little nervous about choosing who you are going to rent from. I am happy to say that this rental company is for real and everything went through as promised. The resort was great! I took my nephew and his two boys ages 4 and 6 along with our 5 year old and we shared the two bedroom unit. The resort had all kinds of fun activities for children of all ages. They had a magic show which was great fun for all. The resort is truly ski in ski out And the pool area was just as shown, wonderful for all ages. The ski school at Park City was really worthwhile. They didn't have monster class sizes. The fee per day was around 280 dollars and that included your lift ticket and equipment and your group was only 4'people. When you do the math for small group instruction it was a good deal. The resort also had snow shoes for patron use for free. My 5 yr old really enjoyed walking the woods in the snow in Spiro Trail. We did hire babysitters from guardianangelbaby.com Google it and it comes right up. The resort recommended them and the sitter they sent was awesome!! The town has a shuttle that picks up about 1/2 block from the resort so no car is needed. You can get dropped off at this resort and have easy access to the Main Street Area for dining. It's much easier to hop on he shuttle than it is to find parking.
Great resort, fabulous trip!
Awesome location, not fancy but adequate and really convenient
Truly ski-in, ski-out with ski valet to take your skis as you enter the hotel. Kitchen made meals easy when we wanted to get up and go or grab a quick lunch. (grocery store is close.....either walk or take the bus) Cars are not necessary as everything is close and bus system is reliable, "green" and free. Lots of restaurants in the area.....most are not memorable and overpriced but a cool atmosphere and who wants to cook on vacation. The hotel does some fun things for kids and families.....free beer and hot dog roast for St. Patrick's. We took advantage of going to the movie as well at the hotel (recent movie and free popcorn and movie)....again, a really nice job catering to families. The skiing was mostly terrible but no fault of the hotel.......2015 winter in Utah really lacked snow. The week we were there we skied some days and hiked others (70 degrees at the bottom) Fun spring skiing but a real lack of snow let alone powder that I think is more usual for Park City.
We purchased a week at the mariott mountainside, and we couldn't have been happier. The 2 BR handicap accessible unit we had was awesome. It was spacious and well decorated, and we had a view of the slopes. The resort had good activities for children of all ages and was ski in an ski out. Ski storage was convenient and quick.
This was our third visit here....everything was well organized and went according to plan. Excellent place with full facilities and courteous staff!
Great Family Vacation
We rented 2 BR during christmas week last year and we all had a great time. We have two children, age 6 and 9 and they enjoyed watching movies at movie theater with free popcorn and playing in the kids play area. The property is not too big so I felt safe our kids go to the play area by theirselves.
It is a true skin in and ski out property and it was so easy to pick up/store skis as well!
The hot tub outside was very relaxing after a long ski day.
We have already booked our next visit this Christmas and this time, we will bring my husband's parents as well!
Great place when you can get in!
My family loves Marriott Mountainside, right on the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort. We actually own a timeshare here. Now I know why we can never get in! They are renting them out to NON owners!
