Family friendly 3-bedroom house with private backyard, walk to beach

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the home and its convenient location. I take the cleanliness and comfort of my guests very seriously. When you contacted me about the odor upon arrival, I responded with suggestions to help address it, and I’m glad you were able to improve the situation during your stay. This was the first time a guest has mentioned anything about a smell and I can only assume it was due to the extreme hot temperatures, AC set to a higher temperature and the house being vacant for a week prior to your stay. I also want to clarify for future guests that the $160 additional cleaning charge was not for normal use of the home, ordinary stains on linens, or simply because the carpets had been professionally cleaned before your arrival. The charge was for cleaning that went beyond my standard turnover requirements, and I provided the details through the booking platform. Linens were stained, recently cleaned carpets were stained and trash was left outside in a neighbor’s yard. Linens and towels are provided for every guest, so bringing your own is not suggested. I do have house rules, as many vacation rentals do, because I work hard to keep the home clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for every guest who stays there. There are not 2 pages by any means. I truly care about providing an affordable, comfortable and enjoyable beach vacation experience, and I appreciate all feedback that helps me continue improving the home for future guests. I hope future visitors enjoy the home, its location, and the beach as much as I love sharing it with them.
