Have stayed in this unit previously and was always spotless. Master bath was not as clean this time with red substance on front of vanity, and around door knob was dirty. Areas of mold in floor of shower. Rug in living area had crumbs present. Couch is totally worn out.

There was MAJOR construction going on. They were redoing the entire decking and boardwalk out to the beach. They were also resurfacing the pool and hot tub. We were told this at a time where it was too late to cancel without losing a lot of money. They were using chainsaws and compressors and every other kind of tool. We were on the fourth floor, so we were close to the noise. The pool was on one side of the balcony and the decking and boardwalk on the other side of the balcony. There was no way to get away from the noise except to leave the property and go somewhere else to enjoy the ocean. I contacted Liquid Life, who manages the property, three different times. I was finally given a 175 refund, which considering what we paid to stay there, really wasn't a fair refund. This wasn't the first time we had stayed here, but it will definitely be our last.

The noise and timing you described are not the experience we want for our guests, and I understand the refund provided felt insufficient. I’ve passed your concerns on to the property owner and the maintenance contractors so we can improve scheduling, advance notice, and our compensation process for future work.
