Classic Log Home on Lg.Corner Lot With 3 Bedrooms, Quiet And Private.

"Licensed Town of Estes Park Vacation Home - Permit No. 3289" Come and enjoy this lovely three bedroom plus "Bonus Room" with two bathrooms mountain log home. Home has a warm and cozy real wood burning Colorado red stone fireplace and many amenities that can sleep up to 10 people. This home is equipped with a wall mounted TV, cable/wireless internet, and DVD player. The dining area has a large wood dining table with chairs for eight. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for cooking a simple meal or an elaborate feast. It has beautiful hickory cabinets with butcher block counter-tops, a four burner smooth surface stove with and oven and an over the range microwave. There are three large bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with a queen size bed, and one with a bunk bed (double on the bottom and single on the top) and a folding cot - movable to any room. An additional 600 sq ft "Bonus Room" is configured as a stand-alone fully furnished studio with a queen-size log bed, tv/seating area with a futon couch, an eating area with table and chairs, kitchen with microwave electric range with oven, refrigerator and bathroom with a shower . This setup is perfect for vacationing with the grand-parents or another couple or just extra room for everyone.

On one of the three decks, on the main level, you can enjoy an early cup of coffee, a meal or just sit back and soak up the sun rays and enjoy a beautiful mountain surroundings while reading a book and watching deer and elk roam through the area and maybe even a bear. Included are; two outside gas grills, firewood, child's high-chair, and a 'pak-n-play' portable crib.

About Marvin Hart

We have owned this property for a very long time. We only lived in it for 5 years and then we converted it to a long term rental. After moving back to the area (we now live in Fort Collins) we did a total renovation of the property in 2012 to make it a vacation rental that we could also enjoy when it isn't rented.

Marvin Hart purchased this house in 1973

Why Marvin Hart chose Front Range

We enjoyed this property when we lived in it raising our two sons. They now have their own families and they too enjoy coming back to Estes Park and staying here and remembering those wonderful early years.

What makes this house unique

You can enjoy views of Longs Peak, Twin Sisters or the Mummy Range from the different decks. This property is close to many things that can be found in Estes Park, but yet it is away from the downtown summer crowds and bumper to bumper slow moving traffic. You can easily reach the 18 and 9 hole golf courses. an indoor swimming pool, Lake Estes, Big Thompson River, the Fish Creek/Lake Estes walking trail, biking, hiking, Rocky Mountain National Park, shopping, observatory and so many other activities.

This house is perfect if vacationing with another couple or grandparents. Both the main level and the lower Studio unit can be locked and secured from each other. The washer and dryer are located in the utility area and are shared.

Great home-lousy weather

There is an awesome deck that we didn't get to use near enough due to rain and didn't get to use the great looking fire pit . The house was well stocked with all the dishes and such needed our family. The owner was friendly and helpful. The house is close to everything in Estes Park but not close enough to walk to town unless you like long walks.

Great place for a family to stay and enjoy the mountains and wildlife

There were deer and elk that walked through the property and sitting out and grilling on the deck was great. My grandchildren really enjoyed their first visit to the mountains.

A great place to stay in Estes Park

Lots of space, a beautiful deck and yard, good kitchen facilities. Helpful owner who gave us some great advice on what to see in the area. Our kids really liked it here.

Not near downtown - you aren't going to be walking to much, but we were mostly using it as a base for travel to Rocky Mountain National Park

Great Location

My wife, 3 young boys (8,5,2) had a great time at this house! Marvin greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful showing us around the house and telling us about the area. The house was well furnished. We purchased some groceries in town and were set. The fire pit was great for evening smores and we had lots of deer and one elk come right through the yard.

The best thing is the proximity to RMNP. It was less than 10 minutes away. We were able to arrive early at the park, hike and explore the area, make it back to the house for lunch/naps and go back to the park in the evening.

Perfect house, beautiful rooms, friendly owners.

This Estes Park house is perfect. We had four adults and two children and we had a lot of extra space. The pictures don't do it justice for how clean and beautiful everything is. We had a terrific time. We read and sunned on the deck. We watched elk walk through the yard. Close to town but away from all the busyness and traffic. Close to RMNP. We hope to make it back out there in a few years and stay here again. Trip of a lifetime. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and easy to deal with. You won't be disappointed.
