Classic Log Home on Large Corner Lot with GREAT VIEWS, Wildlife, Very Quiet.

"Licensed Town of Estes Park Vacation Home - Permit No. 3289" Come and enjoy this lovely mountain home with sleeping accommodations for up to ten guests. Home has a warm and cozy real wood burning Colorado red stone fireplace and many amenities, such as three decks. This home is equipped with a wall mounted TV, cable/wireless internet, and DVD player. The dining area has a large wood dining table with chairs for eight. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for cooking a simple meal or an elaborate feast. It has beautiful hickory cabinets with butcher block counter-tops, a four-burner smooth surface stove with an oven and over the range microwave. There are three large bedrooms on the main level, one with a king size bed, one with a queen size bed, and one with a bunk bed (double on the bottom and single on the top) and a folding cot - movable to any room and a queen size sleeper sofa in the front room. The "*Bonus Room/Studio" (4th bedroom) is configured is a stand-alone fully furnished second living area with its own bathroom, a queen-size log bed, tv/seating area with a futon couch, an eating area with table and chairs, kitchen with microwave electric range with oven, refrigerator and bathroom with a shower. This setup is perfect for vacationing with the grandparents or another couple or just extra room for everyone.

*Note: The Bonus Room is only available starting June 17 through September 9 (Rocky Mountain High Rate Period) All dates outside the Rocky Mountain High Rate Period will not include the "Bonus Room"

On one of the three decks, you can enjoy an early cup of coffee, a meal or just sit back and soak up the sun rays and enjoy a beautiful mountain surroundings while reading a book and watching deer and elk roam through the area and maybe even a bear. Included are; outside gas grills, gas and wood fire pits, child's high-chair, and a 'pack-n-play' portable crib.

About Marvin Hart

We have owned this property for a very long time. We only lived in it for 5 years and then we converted it to a long term rental. After moving back to the area (we now live in Fort Collins) we did a total renovation of the property in 2012 to make it a vacation rental that we could also enjoy when it isn't rented.

Marvin Hart purchased this house in 1973

Why Marvin Hart chose Estes Park

We enjoyed this property when we lived in it raising our two sons. They now have their own families and they too enjoy coming back to Estes Park and staying here and remembering those wonderful early years.

What makes this house unique

You can enjoy views of Longs Peak, Twin Sisters or the Mummy Range from the different decks. This property is close to many things that can be found in Estes Park, but yet it is away from the downtown summer crowds and bumper to bumper slow moving traffic. You can easily reach the 18 and 9 hole golf courses. an indoor swimming pool, Lake Estes, Big Thompson River, the Fish Creek/Lake Estes walking trail, biking, hiking, Rocky Mountain National Park, shopping, observatory and so many other activities.

Notes:
This house is perfect if vacationing with another couple or grandparents. Both the main level and the lower Studio unit can be locked and secured from each other. The washer and dryer are located in the utility area and are shared.

Great location for wildlife and activities.

Very homey! We had 6 adults and three children under 5. Everyone loved it. We ate most meals outdoors on the beautiful deck. Quiet area with little traffic. Elk and deer visited daily. Owner was onsite to welcome us and available for any questions. We will be back.

Great stay

The cabin was perfect for our weekend hiking trip. The hammock in the pine trees was the perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay and will rent again!

This rental property is beautifully decorated, clean and fully equiped with everything needed for a temporary home away from home. It is closed to Estes Park down town in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay in Marvin's rental property. Marvin was very helpful and contacted us before, during and after our stay. We will definitely rent this property again.
