House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Bayside is our holiday home providing us the needed break from our stressed filled lives. We love Cape Coral, the yacht club in particular, because it is close to everything we need while still providing us quick access to our beautiful gulf island beaches. We love the fantastic weather that Florida offers and of course the ocean and its abundant wildlife and beautiful beaches. We especially love the cute docile Manatees we see at our dock, and the thrill of interacting with a pod of dolphins riding the wake and jumping behind our boat. The people are fantastic and we have made many friends.
Tom purchased this House in 2004
Why Tom chose Yacht Club
A wide, deep canal with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico was our primary reason for choosing Bayside Villa. As it has always been our intention to offer a Cape Coral boat rental with our home, its close proximity to Ft. Myers Beach, Estero island, Sanibel island, Captiva and North Captiva islands make it an excellent choice for anyone who loves the water. The Bimini canal is the largest canal in the city and feeds the canals in Southeast Cape Coral. That is one of the reasons for the frequent sightings of dolphins and Manatees in our canal. We also enjoy the unobstructed sunshine on the pool and dock from morning to sunset.
What makes this House unique
I think the advantages of staying at Bayside are all about its location. For the most part, vacation rentals in this area are clean and comfortable, but they don't all provide the privacy of a wide water view with western exposure, or have the amazing Bimini Canal with its big boat traffic and wildlife. And they are not all within sight of the river and just five minutes from the main channel on the Caloosahatchee, nor are they so close to all the area beaches and islands. If you want to avoid long canal and river boat trips at slow wake speeds, or traffic jams at boat locks and boat lifts so that you maximize your Cape Coral boating time exploring barrier islands and beaches only accessible by boat, then this is the right vacation rental for you.

This is a great house, in a great location. The house is clean and comfortable and everything you need to feel at home. The pool was warm and clean. The boat was wonderful to get out to the beaches, and see the dolphins. The location was easy to drive to with many restaurants close by.

Lovely quiet spot
Fantastic house and boat. We would love to return and catch some better weather.
Boaters paradise and CLEAN!
We so enjoyed our recent stay at Yacht Club. First, this rental property was the most clean and organized home we have stayed in with VRBO (and we have been to many). Tom, the owner, was very prompt, detailed and easy to work with. The location of this home is on a wide canal, close to the river and short ride by boat to the beaches of Ft Myers and Sanibel. The boat easily accommodated our family and gear and was in excellent condition. There are many restaurants and activities that are easily accessible by boat. Captain David showed us charts of all the area activities and waterways. He was very thorough in explaining how to use the boat, the radio, and the maritime markers. All of the AV equipment in the home is up to date. The beds were super comfortable. The pool was clean and had floats and toys to enjoy. There was also a cooler and beach chairs to use. We definitely would stay again.
Great house, great location, and great boat
We stayed Christmas week 2018 and so enjoyed everything about the house and property. The house was clean and well appointed with all the basics for the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. The kids and adults loved the pool. Captain David did a nice job training on the boat and more important for us, training on the markers. We did quit a bit of boating during our week. We boated to Sanibel beach, Pine Island for lunch, and even up the Caloosahatchee River. We saw manatees swimming in the canal and dolphins in the river. We had the afternoon sun on the dock which was warm and wonderful. I would highly recommend this property for fun and relaxation.
A perfect week from start to finish
This was our first adventure to Cape Coral - first rental that included a boat! We own boats so we're fairly familiar. The house, the grounds, the boat, the dock, all were comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there. Shopping, restaurants, everything is close. We highly recommend this home and look forward to our next visit.
Everything You Need
This property is in a excellent location and lived up to our expectations. The house is in very good condition. The pool has plenty of room for the family and the boat is the reason we chose this rental. We were pleased with everything about the experience with the home and the process with Tom.
