This was a fabulous stay in Martinez. The house was clean and centrally located. It was very well stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. The hosts were on the property but very respectful and prompt when we requested a little more coffee. I would stay her again when I come down to visit. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Super cute well kept home in a nice location. Home is well stocked with everything we needed for our 5 day stay, (minus food of course) The owners were very responsive to my questions and very helpful. Definitely would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay in Martinez, and the unit was completely stocked with everything we needed. The host was communicative and gave us plenty of information to access the property with ease. Our only issue was that we could hear a lot of what the hosts were doing, including their children, and constant walking above us. We understand this is a unit attached to a house, but the listing noted total privacy and called it an apartment, which technically it is, but we’d consider it more of an in-law suite. The daytime noise paired with the strict quiet hours made it a bit restrictive for us (an adult couple), but we would still consider it a five star stay given the small town and the centrality.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, it’s much appreciated. I do apologize if the apartment was not what you were expecting. We do try to be transparent in our listing. We have a 9 year old and 12 year that we always tell to use soft steps but sometimes they forget. We took additional measures to reduce noise when building out the space including extra insulation and thicker “quiet rock” drywall on the ceiling but it’s impossible to eliminate all sound, unfortunately.
We were actually gone a significant portion of your stay so I feel hearing “constant walking” is a bit of an exaggeration.
Finally regarding quiet hours, we feel it’s reasonable to ask that after 10:00, activities that produce a lot of noise be avoided. Things like loud music, loud laughter and yelling. Quiet hours are not restrictive of normal activity, just loud activity. I would disagree on this being strict.
Again thanks for your review and we did enjoy hosting you and would be happy to host you again if your travels bring you back to Martinez.
