The Owl's Nest was a perfect getaway spot for a girl's weekend. The property is immaculate inside and out. The living room furniture was super comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was simply but well appointed with everything you would need to eat in, enjoy cocktails/wine, and had plastic cups for the hot tub (or children). We found the hot tub and backyard to be particularly charming. There are miles of nature trails around the area, as well as an easy trail to the lake. We did not use the kayaks due to the weather but they were clean, accessible, and had little wheeled dollies to take them down to the lake if you used them. It's a great spot for a leaf peeping weekend, and we felt tucked right into the woods. The pine barrens are beautiful. The house is very small but beautiful new construction. Communication with our hosts was prompt, easy, and helpful. There was a sweet welcome (I won't spoil it for future renters!) along with some snacks, k-cups, and a well compiled binder of information. Bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels, washer/dryer, and basic necessities. Felt like a perfect cross between the amenities of a hotel and the privacy and space of a house. We would return - thank you!
