Fabulous San Clemente Rental

This is a wonderful home to enjoy in San Clemente. Jeanne has created a lovely outdoor patio space complete with a creative garden of succulents. The view overlooking a natural area, with the ocean in the distance is stunning. The house itself is private, clean, very well supplied and so comfortable. Jeanne is a thoughtful, responsive host and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Jeanne!

Love, Love, Love the location! Private, Peaceful, comfortable, Homey, charming, modern, convenient, Happy!!! All the ingredients for a true vacation. Love Island life, and you have that Tropical feeling here. Recommend San Clemente Tropical Getaway a million times.

Our 2nd stay & definitely not the last

Our first stay was in the summer so we fully enjoyed sitting out in shade of the “lanai” everyday, the pool, the ocean view, seeing birds flying (even an eagle!), seeing rabbits scampering in the bushes. This 2nd stay was just as wonderful except that weather was much cooler in March & April so not too much sitting out. Jeannie has every amenity you can think of, from toiletries to plush towels to a brand new stove to an outdoor grill to an instant hot water dispenser to a massage chair etc etc etc! San Clemente is a beautiful seaside town with plenty of restaurants (our favorite was Rocco’s, not to be confused with Rocco’s Pizza) and shops but Jeanie’s kitchen is fully equipped so if one wants to cook every meal, no problem! Jeannie is a wonderful, caring host and if we could give her and her house 10 stars, we would. Mahalo and til next time, Jeanie.

The Setting For The Condo Is Breath Taking.

We rented Jeanne's condo in Feb, 2019. It has such a relaxing, quiet setting with the condo at the end of the street and no neighbors. You look out of both bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen to a vast open area of green uninhabited hills and the ocean. The patio is like an added room where one can sit and enjoy the birds singing, the views and the sunshine. There are large garden container pots with beautiful plants along the side of the house and on the patio. The kitchen has everything one would want including small appliances. There are two large screen TV's, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom where you can watch movies on Amazon Prime or Netflix. We enjoyed our walks at the beach, in the neighborhood, and downtown San Clemente. Southern California is a beautiful place to visit. Jeanne is a great host and made us feel comfortable in her home. Lovely, well furnished, decorated, and stocked condo with a very private setting and great views.

We absolutely loved this place! It has probably the best location in the development, with a very private yard/patio that has lovely views of the ajacent natural open spaces. Jeanne, your host is great and has done everything and beyond to make your stay one for the record.

Perfect getaway. Felt like I was on a tropical vacation!

House is charming. Perfectly equipped & decorated. You feel like you’re at “home” in Hawaii. And the View!!!!!! Unique location so private with Pacific Ocean vistas. Patio is beautiful outdoor room. I never wanted to leave!!

The Best in San Clemente

My husband and I have spent one month of the year for nine years...in San Clemente. We stayed here for March this year and wish we had found this condo earlier on. The condo is furnished like a comfortable home. If you love to cook there is everything you could want. The furniture is top class ....wonderful beds. We had not had a patio before so this one was a treat. A beautiful view of the ocean and hills. It was like an extra room for dining and relaxing. The location is beautiful and quiet for a good night's sleep. You will not want to leave.Jeanne was a wonderful host...always available and prompt to respond. M.k. & Bill Martin....

Awesome San Clemente Condo!

San Clemente is a lovely area and has kept its small town charm. Great restaurants in the area as well as lots of small stores and businesses. If you need larger stores, they are just a few miles north off the freeway. Beaches are beautiful and close by. Our rental, a condo, was just delightful...decor is Hawaiian themed, indoors and out. Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen is the most well equipped one we have ever seen in a rental...everything a person would want or need for cooking. We absolutely LOVED the patio with its comfy furniture and view of the Pacific. The condo's location...at the end of a small street with no neighbors on one side...was very quiet and peaceful. Our hostess, Jeanne, was just awesome and only a text, email, or phone call away...very responsive and accommodating!

very peaceful and picturesque setting

Very nice outdoor space with close access to the pool and ocean views. The house is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. It is just a short drive to the busy downtown area but located above all the congestion so it feels like a relaxing get away spot. Parking is available too which is rare in a beach city. Jeanne was so kind and helpful we would recommend this home to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation.

Thank you for sharing your home

Our family had a wonderful stay and thank you Jeanne for being so flexible in meeting us late on the day we arrived. San Clemente is a great beach town and we are very glad we found you on VRBO! The home is very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Our kids loved that the pool was mere steps from the yard and I appreciated that the golf course was a 2 minute drive away. The location at the very edge of the neighborhood made it a very quite and peaceful location with no traffic. Having 2 kids under the age of 4, we appreciated that fact very much. While there, make sure to stop by "Pipes" for breakfast and "Pedro's" for lunch and try their tacos. Jeanne was a pleasure to deal with and if you are in need of a place to stay in San Clemete, it will be hard to find a better spot.

Fabulous getaway!!

It's hard to overstate just how wonderful this vacation spot is. I'm an owner of Homeaway rental properties myself, so I'm very attuned to all the details of a house or apartment when I'm traveling. Jeanne, the owner of this rental asked me in person for suggestions, and I had to admit, I had absolutely NO criticisms to make. Jeanne has thought of everything. First, and foremost, the location is amazing. It's on top of a mountain overlooking the Pacific, and right next to a huge wilderness area. We saw rabbits and birds of all kinds. It is quiet and completely private. The weather during our stay was also wonderful: we kept the doors and windows open the whole time, and enjoyed the breezes--70s during the day and 60s at night. Second, the pool is steps from the back door, and is essentially a private pool. My three kids, ages 9, 11, and 2, had it all to themselves and used it multiple times every day. We could watch them from the patio, with cocktails in hand. How awesome!! Third, the house itself is lovely: well-decorated, with a full and fully stocked kitchen, professional gas stove, stainless fridge and great dishwasher. Jeanne also provides laundry facilities, which a family on vacation absolutely needs. The bathrooms were clean and the beds comfortable--very nice linens and comforters. There are also all kinds of beach toys in the garage if you want to go down to the beach, which is only about 5 minutes away, driving. The town itself is charming, with fun restaurants and shops and, of course, the beach close by. This is really a gem, and I give it my highest recommendation!

Can't go wrong!

What a gem! Close enough to the beach, yet far enough so you can feel like you are on a real vacation. Wonderfully furnished in a Hawaii/tropical theme, this home had all one could ask for: beautiful furniture, a peaceful/private patio outside with an ocean view, and the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a vacation rental! All that -- plus the fact that our (small and well-behaved) dog could join us -- made this stay truly special. If you do end up leaving the house, just down the street are many good restaurants (go for a scroll on Del Mar avenue to discover them yourself!) and the beaches (we loved Calafia). The owner was very responsive and a gracious host. We'll surely return!

Lovely, Well-Furnished Home

This home is very comfortable and really lovely! Décor is modern and tropical, kitchen is well-equipped, bedrooms are very comfortable. The patio is especially charming with distant views of the ocean and a lush, tropical feel. We were very comfortable for our stay and had everything we needed. This home is very close (3-5 minutes) to great boutique shopping, local "hot spot" dining, beautiful beaches, train station (great for short coastal trips to fun destinations), etc.

Everything You Need with a Beautiful View

This home we would love to come and stay again and again! It was just a 5 minute drive to beach and all the restaurants of San Clemente but it is so quiet and beautiful. As soon as we parked the car and walked in the entrance we knew it was going to be great! We had everything we needed and more. Love this place and San Clemente is a must visit beach town.

peaceful and relaxing

The corner location of this rental is private and peaceful with beautiful views. It is adjacent to one of the pools, and two others are a short walk away. The unit is comfortable and well-furnished and has everything you could even imagine you might need during your stay. The beds were all comfy--even the pull-outs. Beaches are a short drive (Calafia was our favorite) and we also enjoyed dining at Fisherman's Restaurant on San Clemente Pier. There were games, and toys for the beach and pool. I would definitely recommend this rental, especially for a family with younger children. Jeanne (the owner) was very friendly and helpful. The arrangements of plants, flowers, and succulents on the patio are made by Jeanne and are especially beautiful.

Perfect for Califonia family vacation

Where to start? With the wonderful of the pacific and the hills of San Clemente? The warm afternoons and the cool evenings? Jeanne's helpfulness and willingness to answer any question, prior to booking, before arrival and during the stay? The well-equipped house with that true hawaiian feel? No matter what your parameter for choosing a location for a Califonia vacation might be, this house would be the ideal choice and Jeanne's hospitality is the crowning jewel of it. We spent nine days here, a family of five, who enjoyed the house and pools (we pratically had them to our-selves) and the SoCal life in San Clemente. When you book, you always wonder whether pictures and descriptions match with reality. In this case, they did, and they don't even do total justice to the house. As the house is also very well kept and the cleaning immaculate, there is no doubt, that we would recommend the house to everybody planning to go to Southern California. Rasmus, Denmark

Peaceful retreat

When looking for a vacation rental for our stay in San Clemente with friends and family, this one caught our attention, not only for all of the amenities but also for the great atmosphere. We were not disappointed. The fact that it's an end unit, next to open acres of government land, gives it a sense of privacy. We spent every morning in the back patio enjoying the peacefulness. The pool is right there and convenient to get to. The kitchen is updated and stocked with nearly any cooking tool you could need, as well as some spices, oils, etc. The rest of the living space was spacious and very comfortable. There were plenty of linens, pillows, and blankets, as well as great extras for the beach. All in all, we were very happy with this rental and hope to return someday

Well equipped, quiet, Etc....

This floor level condo was very well equipped and in a quiet residential area. Its location at the end of a lane with an uninhabited ravine on one side provided a peaceful picturesque environment. Nearby is a fine municipal golf course. The comfortable patio was excellent for dining and relaxing. There is a pool nearby. The kitchen was was well stocked with a wide variety of items for use during our stay. It was a short drive to groceries and San Clemente's town centre. Easy beach access allows for walks and relaxation. This tropical well appointed unit provided for a memorable stay.

Located at the end of a dead in street gives you complete privacy while enjoying the Ocean Views. The home is perfectly decorated giving you the feel of a tropical get away while the comfort of your home away from home. The patio is wonderful and site literally feet from the pool all with scenic views of the ocean. Jeanne is a gem to deal with and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. You seriously can not get this type of a getaway in a hotel and most other Vacation rentals don't come close. We will hopefully be back again as this was a TEN STAR stay for us.

You seriously can not get this type of a getaway in a hotel and most other Vacation rentals don't come close. We will hopefully be back again as this was a TEN STAR stay for us.

Hi, I am a Southern California "native" Beach Girl!!. I have worked as a teacher, an Interior Decorator and currently own this wonderful Vacation House and a Plant Design business. My husband and I have lived many places in So. Cal, Arizona and Maui Hi. We moved from Carlsbad to San Clemente in 1997 and found our perfect "beach town"!! We choose our property for its View instead of its size and have never regretted the decision. After living in Maui, Hi. we were "homesick" for the Islands, so I decorated our home to feel like we were still in Maui and better yet on vacation!! I hope you will feel the same way. Recently widowed, I have found Vacation Renting to be a great solution to help me maintain the property and in the process meet wonderful people from around the world. I can share my love of this special beach town and everything in the area. I have 3 sons, one still in Maui with a beautiful vacation rental (Maui House 4 rent....), perfect for my island travels, and 6 grandchildren, so I feel like I know just what couples and families like to do.

Conveniently located between San Diego and Los Angeles in South Orange County.
