It’s a true Santa Barbara gem—nestled between the beach, the harbor, and downtown, yet tucked just far enough away to feel peacefully apart from it all.



Perched above Leadbetter Beach, the house blends understated design with one of Santa Barbara’s most sought-after coastal outlooks—open sky, ocean, harbor, and the silhouette of the Santa Ynez Mountains.



Inside, the interiors are calm and thoughtfully designed. Spaces open to a wraparound deck that feels like a natural extension of the living area. Beyond the glass, the view shifts with the light and weather, making even the simplest moments feel expansive and grounded.



A private gate leads to a footpath that takes you directly across the street to the beach. You’re steps from the sand, yet tucked away enough to feel completely still. Days here can be as slow or as active as you’d like—walk to Shoreline Café or the harbor, bike the waterfront path to downtown, or grab a surfboard and head into the waves. The house is stocked with everything you need: new Chatham beach cruisers, surfboards, body boards, beach gear, a heated outdoor shower, a barbecue, and spaces to gather.



Evenings are simple: a quiet soak in the hot tub, dinner outdoors, and maybe lounging by the fire pit with s’mores and a glass of wine. Not much else is needed.



Post Script isn’t a showpiece—it’s more personal than that. Understated, deeply comfortable, and designed for a Santa Barbara stay that feels off the radar in the best way.

The house can accommodate up to 6 guests, but not 6 adults, as one bed is full-sized. The home is not suitable for children under 12 due to safety concerns and the nature of the furnishings.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Leave blankets and throws folded where they were found. Hand-wash any items that cannot go in the dishwasher and leave them to air-dry. Wipe up visible spills on counter or stove top
Make sure gate to footpath is locked from the footpath side Shake out sand or debris from beach towels before placing them in the laundry pile.
Return bike lock keys and garage key to the bowl on the tile counter. Confirm both garage doors are locked and closed. Confirm entry door locks behind you when exiting.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. The ocean view is every bit as stunning and serene as the photos suggest. The location is ideal—just steps from the beach and walking path, and a short stroll to the Funk Zone. The home itself is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with high-end furnishings, décor, and linens that make it feel both stylish and comfortable. We can’t wait to return!

Anne-Marie was an incredible hostess! She was quick to respond to any questions or needs that we had and very gracious. The home itself was absolutely stunning! The home was supplied with every luxury item at our disposal. The design and decor were straight out of a magazine. It was the perfect relaxation trip. We stayed in, we ate out, went on several beach walks, and enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. The sunsets were breathtaking an we hope to be back soon!

Gorgeous property. Host Anne-Marie thought of everything. From comfy bedding to gorgeous furnishings! Fully stocked kitchen for cooking and grilling. Even a welcome bottle of wine was waiting for us!Perfect location with unobstructed ocean views. Shoreline Drive traffic as minimal and did not disturb us at all. Close to town yet positioned enough away to feel very tranquil. We will be back!
