Affordable clean place to stay in Boothbay

Communication with Property Owner was excellent. This cute little cottage has been renovated and has a nice feel indoors. There is a beautiful porch on the back with a lovely view. The unit includes a mini fridge and mini microwave along with a little table and two chairs. If you have long hair, water pressure could be a concern. My shower worked great but the sink water pressure was not strong. The bed was comfortable and the decor was nice. The air conditioning works fine.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy
The quaint “renovated” cabin I booked (accordingly to the pictures) was not at all what I arrived to. Not even the “cabin” I booked, instead, walked into a room at the crack house complete with multiple cars sans any license plates and broken glass everywhere. Clearly a transient housing authority trying to rip off good people. Would love to show pics of expectations vs reality. Communication was good at 1st stating I would get a full refund and then crickets… my husband and I, literally, got back into the car and drove the couple hours back home. This VRBO needs to be removed completely from being able to offer any type of hospitality and I will be reporting this place and Ridvan to the Better Business Bureau.
