About Robert Heinrich
I am the Caretaker of this very special home. My Daughter and I run the fun here.
Robert Heinrich purchased this House in 1995
Why Robert Heinrich chose Gilford
This property is a well kept secret. The original home was built in 1897 as a Grand Victorian Cottage by AV Lincoln, the largest property owner in Charlestown,MA which was at the time the epicenter of Boston. Mr. Lincoln was the real-estate consultant for the railroad, which was booming at the time. Mr Lincoln sighted the home perfectly in such a way that it always is sunlit with the undisputed best view of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossipee mountains found anywhere.
What makes this House unique
Every day is beautiful from The Lincoln Cottage, rain or shine. Watching a weather event from here is alost as good as a sunny day. Everything you need for a home away from home is here at the Lincoln Cottage.

Beautiful home with spectacular views of the lake. Tons of charm and wood paneling with great kitchen for people who want to cook in . Would do it again.
Fabulous Lincoln Cottage!
First, it was a pleasure to work with the owner, Robert. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay in his beautiful home.
Living in an older home ourselves, we truly appreciated the restoration and enhancements he has made to this antique home on Lake Winnipesaukee. The "cottage" is in the best location on the lake, with wonderful vistas: both sunrise and sunsets and Mount Washington (on clear days!)
His boathouse was perfect, as well for housing our boat during our stay.
I cannot say enough about the accommodations or the pleasure of working with Robert.
What a privilege to stay in a house with so much history and beauty.
We need more people like you folks in this world. You were AAA+ Guests in every regard. Cheers!!
Terrific property, amazing views. Robert was a pleasure to deal with. Love the history of the property, it was like stepping back in time. Great location for families and friends.
We all enjoyed our stay, porch sitting, paddle boarding. Kayaking, snorkeling. The top floor game room was a big plus and well used..
Robert, the owner, was on call and gave us a great tour and the history of the house.
We had a fantastic stay at Roberts house.
Amazing and majestic property
Robert was an excellent host and his home on the lake was an amazing experience. There are so many unique features of the property I don’t know where to start. I will just say that if your looking spend some quality family time on the lake and be right on the water with breathtaking views you will enjoy each and every second of your stay at the Lincoln Cottage. Thank you Robert!
