Have fun with friends or family in this 2+ bedroom modern home with a *spectacular* view of San Francisco. Walk to/from Montclair Village in 20 minutes in a safe, friendly neighborhood. Two queen bedrooms adjacent to modern complete kitchen and large open plan living and dining room. Furnished lower level sleeps 2 more. Includes laundry access.

Outdoor space includes three levels of gorgeous redwood decks accessible by connecting external spiral staircase.

Off street parking. Sibley, Huckleberry and Redwood Park less than 5 min away!

The Space:
Whether visiting friends or family in Montclair, Oakland, Berkeley or anywhere in the East Bay, or visiting the San Francisco Bay Area to see the beautiful city and attractions nearby, this house will spoil you for the gorgeous view of the entire Oakland Berkeley East Bay and San Francisco Peninsula plus the Sausalito and Marin North Bay. The property has every detail you need for a restful retreat.

Amenities include off street parking, large open plan kitchen and living areas.

Guest access:
Guests will have main entrance access to the inside and outside areas of the property, including two queen bedrooms and the complete kitchen dining and living room, plus the lower level great room, and all deck areas. A separate bedroom in the lower level and the garage area will not be accessible to guests.

Other things to note: The host/property owner has exterior access to a separate locked lower level bedroom used on an intermittent basis.

A wonderful home away from home with great amenities and comfortable furnishing for the two of us! Cozy tv room downstairs and roomy couch for spreading out. Great hiking trails nearby. Restaurants were abundant in downtown Montclair. All Topped with a fantastic view of San Francisco Bay. Our host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The view is really what sells this place, as well as the host. The hosts were very responsive and let us host a small baby shower tor my family that lives in the area. I will definitely be keeping this spot in my favorites to come back some day.

I love the centralized location within the bay area and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly with great access to freeways on one side and parks and quiet open spaces on the other.

I can be anywhere in the bay area within a short drive, and the weather is fantastic.

MONTCLAIR neighborhood is amazing.

What makes this property unique

The view and open floor plan attracted me to this house initially. I quickly fell in love with the Oakland Hills for the great weather and proximity to everywhere inn the Bay Area. Oakland is so central in Northen California, so much to see and do and everything is so close.

For example, we’re only about 20 minutes from San Francisco as well as anywhere in Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville. If you wanna go to the beaches of San Francisco or the North Bay like Marin Sausalito Napa, or San Jose to the heart of the tech world it’s only a little bit further. If you want to explore the wider region, including Yosemite, Lake Tahoe or Mendocino Coast, it’s only a few hours drive.

Within five minutes from the house, there are several great regional parks where you can explore redwoods streams huge Oak and Laurel Bay tree groves.

MONTCLAIR village is a charming little district in Oakland within a five minute drive from the house with great restaurants and easy shopping.
