A two story farmhouse built in 2000, surrounded by magnificent stone walls. Located on three acres of land, this residence is situated on top of a small hill which provides beautiful expansive views of Nonquit Pond. The decor is modern with traditional touches; beamed ceilings and wood floors throughout. One feels remote yet not isolated for it's a short walk to Historic Four Corners for food and/or shopping.
You will see and feel the breathtaking outdoors from every room in the house!
There are 3 upstairs bedrooms that sleep 7.
This is a designer owned home that has special details both inside and out!
The owners met, fell in love and married in the area.
Billy and Debra McGuire purchased this house in 2011
Designer owned home with beautiful touches and breathtaking views.
It is centrally located. Close to Historic 4 Corners, beaches, Little Compton, Newport and Bristol.
We stayed here for just one night to run the Westport half marathon. The home was beautifully appointed with a lovely yard and views. The owners were very friendly and flexible with some customized requests. My children adored the house and the yard. We would love to return for a longer stay. A cozy little gem in Tiverton!
We spent 14 nights at this wonderful home and it was like leaving an old friend behind when it was time for us to check out.
The interior of the home is beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was well furnished with everything you would need for the perfect stay.
Prior to our arrival, we had inquired about whether there was a TV in the Master BR. Up until our inquiry, there had not been one -- but prior to our arrival, the owners had installed a beautiful wall-mounted TV in the MBR.
Billy was a great host. He was quick to respond to any questions we had. He offered suggestions for dining, yoga, groceries and vegetable markets.
The surrounding scenery was very lovely. The home overlooks a beautiful pond and the view is spectacular.
If you select this home for your next trip, we hope you enjoy it stay as much as we did.
Thank you, Billy and Debra, for your hospitality!!
We enjoyed our stay immensely - the house is a winner and the area is fantastic!!
I've been visiting the area for years and when I was looking for a place to bring the family I stumbled on this listing. What a great house.
The house is a perfect spot for a family or a few friends to stay and is extremely clean and very comfortable. Although close to everything, it's quiet and restful. The pictures are exactly what you'll find. Comfortable beds, a great kitchen, and perfect views.
Billy (the owner) was attentive and very reachable with any questions we had. Arriving and leaving was the easiest I've ever had. We didn't have a single problem but if we did I have no doubt they would have been taken care of immediately.
We will definitely be back.
The house is beautiful and the yard maybe even more so. We (2 young families) stayed in Tiverton for a wedding at The Meeting House. Everything was lovely, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We felt very welcome and at home. The location is great, not only for the wedding, which was a 5 minute walk, but for enjoying the area. We visited multiple beaches and nearby Bristol and Evelyn's Drive-in, all within a 20 minute drive. Sitting on the deck for dinner, or relaxing in the hammock, or roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, everything was just as you'd want it to be, better even. What a special place! Thank you for having us. We hope to be back.
We stayed for a long weekend for our son's wedding at the nearby meeting house (minutes away!) and it couldn't have been more lovely, with a great rustic/modern vibe. We loved cooking with family in the well appointed/well stocked kitchen, then lingering over brunch, looking out over the beautiful grounds and nearby pond. The house feels open and sunny and bright, and the art throughout lends lots of character.
The beds are all comfy, the bathroom has thoughtful touches like a magnifying mirror and nice toiletries. On the quiet afternoon after the wedding, my husband enjoyed sitting in the living room playing guitar while I read and napped on the super-comfy sectional in a sunny spot. The big screen TV in the den was a perfect spot for watching game 7 of the NBA finals that night. Homey and comfortable all around.
In addition to finding yummy food nearby (Evelyn's for lobster rolls and Provender for sandwiches at Four Corners), we enjoyed exploring local beaches and grabbing fruit and veggies from the local farm stands. We will definitely come back with friends to explore the area more and will return to this beautiful home.
