Great location awesome lake view well equipped with very nice upgrades

  • 5 of 5

This property has a great location with an awesome view of the lake and is close to the recreation park and the east folk gate. The screen porch was our favorites spot to relax and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. The lake was great and our dogs enjoyed their daily swims. The golf course is awesome and was in great condition. The deer are everywhere and there were multiple sighting daily. The white squirrels were amazing. The only suggestion I would offer to the owner would be to add a TV to the master bedroom and maybe in the 2nd bedroom too. My wife and I hope we can rent this property again in 2018 both in the summer and again in the fall. My wife and I loved Connestee Falls so much we plan to purchase a 2nd home there in 2018. This property has it all; location, views, very well equipped with everything you need and has very nice upgrades like hardwood floors, granite countertops and bathroom vanities and stainless steel appliances.

great location

  • 3 of 5

The upstairs was fantastic everything you required was there. We were lucky enough to have some cold weather and got to use the wood fireplace which really made our night. Basement as stated in other reviews is not the most ideal place to sleep, but if you have a bunch of kids they certainly wont mind.

Beautiful Mountains and Colors

  • 3 of 5

The area was beautiful, the mountains, hiking, wildlife etc. was everything we were looking for. The home we rented wasn't exactly what we thought but we made due. The basement was freezing and smelled horrible so we all slept upstairs. Their were heaters down stairs but when you plugged them in the breakers blew. Not sure what that was about, but we made due. The upstairs was great, but we could have used another tv at night as the kids didnt want to watch what the adults did. But all in all we had a great time.

Very Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

We rented this very comfortable house in a great location as overflow space to accommodate family members coming to Connestee Falls for a reunion. We had 8 adults stay there and it was great place for them to spend the night and to escape to for afternoon naps. We didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed to be fully equipped for vacation stays. We were concerned about heating because it was expected to be incredibly cold outside but Todd made sure the house was warmed and ready before our family members arrived. Another bathroom in the basement would make this a 5 star destination for a large group. Thanks, Todd!

Very clean, beautiful view of lake

  • 5 of 5

We decided to take a last minute trip so kids could go horseback riding and mountain bike riding before cold weather set in. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Property is located close to Dupont St. Forest and Pisgah Forest as well as Brevard. We had a great time biking, horseback riding, and hiking to waterfalls in the forest. Could have used a little more heat in the downstairs room, other than that, it was great.
