The floor plan provides maximum space utilization with an open living to dining room and the fantastic period ‘Jack and Jill’ bath is conveniently accessible from either bedroom. While this home can sleep up to four, it is primarily intended for a couple or small family get-away. We LOVE the location. East Pensacola Heights is a gem, situated on a peninsula with Escambia bay to the South and East and Bayou Texar to the West. This neighborhood is convenient to the beach, downtown, the mall, airport and has many of it's own restaurants and even an amazing 'old time' grocery store just 4 blocks away. Homes in East Pensacola Heights vary from the early 1900's to new construction happening on vacant lots today! The area has maintained as a clean, safe, working class neighborhood for over 100 years and that truly has something to be said for it.
What makes this House unique
From this location, you can explore Pensacola and the surrounding area easily and efficiently. There is a locals favorite deli/market (Apple Market) with full service espresso/Coffee bar 3-4 blocks away. Public park with water access (suitable for kayak/ paddle board) 2 blocks away, park with baseball field and children's playground 2 blocks away. Marina and Public boat ramp very close. Many Fantastic restaurant's within 1/2 mile. And of coarse the worlds most beautiful beaches 10-15 min away!!!

Favorite Place to stay
Second time staying at the “yellow house” it was spotless, comfortable and the perfect location. You will not be disappointed. Book early I’m not what I will do if this house isn’t available on out next trip to Pensacola. Probably stay at home until it IS available.
Home Sweet Home
This cottage is just adorable, clean, and relaxing! Granite, exposed brick, shining hardwood floors, private yard and outstanding location. Plenty of household essentials! Walking distance to Apple Market and Oyster Barn on the Bayou. Just booked our next trip. Don’t hesitate, I’m a real estate broker from Atlanta and I would be proud to list this house!
This was PERFECT!
This was a first for us and what a way to start. The cottage was clean, decorated beautifully, and felt like our home away from home. Even though we never got the opportunity to meet Tim and Evie, we felt as though they we there if needed. The “little things” are what set the bar for future visits with VRBO - hope they can meet the high standards. Perfect Little Cottage
We had such a great time here. The place is wonderful. Such charm and feels like you are at home. The beds could use a little updating. Backyard is perfect. This will be the place my friend and I stay at on our annual trip to Florida.

Another lovely vacation stay at the yellow cottage
This is our 2nd time at this lovely cottage. We've wanted to come back every year & stay at this cottage to enjoy Pensacola beach each summer. Evie & Tim have managed to keep the rental at affordable rate such it has been a popular rental property with all the ammenities you need for a home away from home comfort at a beautiful beach town. We had to book it nearly a year in advance to get the dates we want. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage with our family. We'll hope to come back next year!

Our philosophy is that all hard working families deserve a vacation without breaking the bank! We only require a minimal $100 deposit to secure the reservation. This is where vrbo/homeaway adds their service fee, so your initial charge will be $100+ the site service fee of 8-12% of the total rental cost. Balance is not due until 14 days prior to arrival. Deposit refund is conditional based upon property condition. If damages are incurred or excessive cleaning required deposit funds will be utilized to return the property to the condition in which it was received.
