A private waterfront getaway on sixteen acres with a five boat pier and a living space of charming decor as if staying on a yacht! Wake up each morning to the smell of coffee and stepping out onto the vast expanse of lawn hugged by soothing water filled with wildlife. You sit in the white Adirondack Chairs with your crossword and Words With Friends (because yes, there's WiFi!). You suddenly realize you need a few more groceries for your grilling tonight, so you hop on your bike and breeze through to the Acme in St. Michaels where all of your needs are met. You stay for lunch and eat in Foxy's, a bohemian Bar & Grill located on a charming marina, and you watch the yachts come in. On your bike ride home, you stop into Chesapeake Landing, and pick up some smoked Blue Fish for your hors d'oeuvres that evening. Once home, pop open your favorite wine ( or boil up some relaxing green tea) and take in the sight of the fish jumping in the cove and then take in the night sky with our telescope.
3 Bedroom, 3 bathroom, on two acres of waterfront property.

Why Liv Violette chose Bozman
Living in the city has its perks, but there is something about frequenting a getaway that calms the soul. My husband and I chose to buy this property because our hectic lives needed some slowing down without distractions. We love The Lodge at Leadenham Cove because we have solidified our relationships with friends and family by having them join us in a wholesome and soothing environment.
What makes this Cottage unique
My favorite part of staying at the cove is sitting in the Adirondack chairs with friends for hours catching up, and genuinely enjoying each others company. The Catalpa, Magnolia, and Pine trees give the space a unique park-like setting, that never grows tired. At night, I love to serve dinner to my guests on the deck below a Maple tree decorated with hanging lamps that my daughter refers to as The Great Hall from Harry Potter.
Leadenhall Cove was very easy to find, oodles of things to do were provided inside the home and out. 15-minute drive from downtown St. Michael's. Liv was very accommodating as to check in and check out times.
Charming, quiet, secluded cabin—exactly what we were looking for.
Quiet, cozy, well-equipped property. Comfortable and lovely. We will be back.
Great getaway spot
The weather didn’t cooperate but the property was perfect.
Always a fun serenity filled escape from Adulting!!
Our second time around at this lovely abode. Lots of nature and privacy. Kayaking or sitting on the dock and taking in the beauty. Last year we arrived early summer vs. deep into summer this year. Remember you are in the outdoors so bring necessary sprays, etc. as you will have company, lol!!!
Great getaway and Liv is quite approachable and attentive!
Relaxing stay in peaceful spot
We had a wonderful time at the Lodge at Ledenham Cove! It was fairly close to St. Michaels, about a 10 minute drive away, and the house itself was lovely. We loved the peace and quiet of being tucked away. I definitely appreciated that linens and towels were included (since they take up so much room in the car!), and we enjoyed the books and DVDs that were there. We loved kayaking, biking, and crabbing--all from the dock--but it's possible that our dog loved the place more than we did--he was running and swimming like a puppy again. I think the only negative is that there is no trash pickup.
Liv is delightful, and made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again.
Yay! Please do come back and bring your happy, lovely dog! Regarding trash pick up - yes, I'm afraid all we have out there is the community dumpster (in front of the big red barn on Leadenham Cove Rd. )
Thank you so much for the review.
Quiet and Relaxing Stay at the Cove
Our family had a wonderful quiet and relaxing time at the Leadenham Cove house. We loved the little private dock and enjoyed fishing and bird watching. The sun room off the main bedroom was also a favorite spot to read a book or drink our morning coffee. St. Michael's was only a short drive away and had plenty of restaurants and shops to entertain us during the day. Having a dog friendly house was also great with lots of yard space for them to explore.
The property has a pier for crabbing and great fishing. Kayaks, grill, croquet, badminton, crab trap, bicycles and a foosball table area all available on site for use. A very easy, flat seven mile bike ride to St. Michaels, where some of the best restaurants and shops on the Eastern Shore are to be enjoyed. A popular attraction also in the area is the beautiful Inn at Perry Cabin, where a pool is available after you use their fantastic spa. Our shore house is the perfect getaway with tons of privacy for a family with children or a couple in love.
