Welcome to Overlook Pointe!

Overlook Pointe is a 4BR/3BA mountain getaway with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located less than three (3) miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this home provides easy access to winter favorites like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and sledding. In the warmer months, hiking and mountain biking are big attractions at the resort. Buckeye Recreation Center, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort are a few other local attractions within a short 15-minute drive. The charming town of Banner Elk is five (5) minutes away, with fine restaurants, local shopping, and conveniences like grocery stores and gas stations.

With unique stone and warm wood detailing, this home combines a modern aesthetic with rustic touches. The main living area is centered around a stone fireplace and a large HDTV while also maintaining stunning mountain views through the many windows. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, and seating is available for up to twelve (12) guests at the two main dining tables and two (2) at the bar. Outside on the two levels of porches are additional dining space, a porch swing, Adirondack seating, and a large hot tub for guests to enjoy while overlooking the sweeping vista. There is also a patio with a large stone fireplace and seating.

The master bedroom is on the main level and has a king-size bed, an HDTV, private access to the deck, and an ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and a walk-in shower. Also on the main level is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and an HDTV. On the lower level are two bedrooms, a king bedroom and a queen bedroom. They share a full bathroom. The lower level features a spacious den equipped with a pool table, foosball table, a Multicade Arcade game machine, ample cozy seating around a large HDTV, a wet bar area, and a sleeper sofa that accommodates two.

Three (3) dogs are welcome at Overlook Pointe, with no weight limit. Pet fees will apply. A dog crate is available at the property. Access to the home is up a flight of 6 steps.

Great location and views from the balconies. House was on a private street with limited numbers of people nearby. Only minor comment was the traffic noise from road down the mountain during the day (heavy trucks likely from construction down the road). Not really an issue as we were not in the house much during the day

House was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. It was close the both Sugar and Beech slopes. The views from the deck and hot tub were amazing. Host was very responsive as well. We will definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing, very spacious and all the amenities. The house was clean on arrival and everyone on the trip had a nice stay. The location is very close to beech mountain and not far sugar and banner elk. Nick was easy to communicate with when needed. Will be staying again when we come back!

The view from the property is hard to beat, and Nick was very responsive. The house was expansive and easily accommodated my children, their spouses, and our grandchildren. There were no toys for toddlers but we had brought our own so no big deal. The hot tub experienced some downtime due to the weather being extremely cold before our stay but Nick brought in a tech to fix it. The location is a short drive to both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain and the skiing was good early in the day (we had a warm spell).

We loved the house. Everything was beautiful and worked out perfectly for our family trip. Nick was a great host. If I had any questions he would get back to me within 15 minutes to an hour. View was nice and relaxing. The only “complaint” we would have about the property and stay was that there was a lot of traffic during the day. Other than that everything was great!

The views! Located at a great elevation, you can sip coffee on the decks in the Adirondack chair or soak in the hot tub and just enjoy the crisp mountain air.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The views! The 2-floor decks have glass railings so you get a beautiful crystal-clear view of the mountains from 4700' elevation! Multiple bedrooms, living rooms, and game rooms can access the view. A fully-stocked game room with foosball table, wet bar, ping-pong, projector, and pool table will keep everyone entertained. A fully stocked kitchen and easy parking, plus location central to Beech Mountain and Banner Elk make this the perfect hub for all of your activities!
