Isolated duplex North end of lake. Mostly quiet unless hosts play with their dogs on the deck. Can hear host family talking/playing video games when upstairs. Cleanliness was lacking. Stove set off smoke detector. Lint trap full in the dryer. Non working washing machine. Had to clean bbq grill before we could use. Bugs in some dishes. Cleaning crew needs an upgrade. Downstairs mattress not comfortable at all. Should be the first upgrade. Good location to explore the area fromhowever. Enjoyed our stay in the area but learned lesson about duplexes. Pet friendly was the key on this property for us

Thank you for an amazing vacation! We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to come back.We spent our days fishing on the lake and exploring by boat. We caught plenty of fish, including an impressive **8-pound catfish right off the dock!** The fishing was fantastic.One of my favorite parts of each day was waking up early, sipping my coffee on the deck, looking out over the lake, watching the deer wander by, and listening to the birds sing. It was incredibly peaceful and exactly what we needed.The cabin was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Our boys loved sharing the large upstairs bedroom, and we enjoyed winding down together with a family movie on the main floor in the evenings.The nearby shopping and coffee shops were a great bonus, too. As someone with Celiac disease who must eat strictly gluten-free, I was thrilled to discover Redhead Lakeside Restaurant, where they serve gluten-free fried chicken tenders cooked in a dedicated fryer—they were absolutely amazing! My husband also surprised me with a birthday cake from Jos Bakery in Eldon, a dedicated gluten-free bakery, which made my birthday extra special.Thank you again for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We made wonderful memories as a family and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great place for a family vacation! We all had fun start with our arrival. Thanks for putting out the splash pad the grandsons loved it. Did a lot of fishing and swimming off the dock. The kayaks were a great hit too. The house had plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. Loved sitting on the porch and grilling outside. Beautiful scenery in a secluded cove. Home was beautifully decorated. Overall we had a great stay and planning on a return vacation soon!!!
