Relax or telework from Hilltop Cottage Lake of the Ozarks

Why stay in the city & work from home, when you can be at the lake & work from home. We will consider 30 day or longer rentals at a very discounted rate. Lovely 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage in Sunrise Beach directly across from Toad Cove. Appropriately named Hilltop Cottage, this wonderful getaway lays claim to one of the best views on the lake. Enjoy the oversize deck, and your own private entertaining dock. Both bedrooms have queen beds; living room has oversized sofa. All linens are provided, and kitchen is fully equipped. We are pet friendly with pre-approval. Dogs MUST be flea & tick treated. Home is smoke free. Three night minimum, but shorter stays available. Just for guests, when you're ready to wind down after a busy day on the lake, enjoy the high speed internet and watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, or another streaming service with Roku. In Hilltop Cottage, you can use your login to access the same streaming service you watch while at home. If you have any special apps you watch, you can load them if they are a part of Roku's library. Don't worry, we will provide directions if you're not familiar with the Roku.

Quaint ozarks cabin

We stayed for 3 nights over the shootout weekend. Location was super convenient and a short drive to Capt Rons. Loved how quiet it was there. Lots of wildlife and our dog enjoyed that! If you're looking for a small basic cabin that's quiet and has everything you need this is for you. Screened in area on porch was also great! Grill and keurig were pluses. The beds could use new mattress but that's my only suggestion . Communication was fast and easy. Thank you!

Wonderful getaway!

We have a wonderful time! The cottage was perfect for our family of 4! The private dock was great to swim off of and bring our own boat! We had a blast! Definitely will stay again!

Wonderfully Relaxing

We came down for Memorial Day weekend. Our daughter lives at the lake and it was also her birthday weekend. We wanted a quiet place to relax and just hang out on Sunday after being tourists on Saturday. This home is very charming and clean. It was perfect for us, our son and his girlfriend. The deck is amazing, which is where we spent the day hanging out on Sunday. My daughter and her fiance came over and we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, got a little wet in the lake, and just hung out as a family. Having a calm, quiet space to do this was priceless.

Ok stay

This place isn't exactly the same as advertised. Needs new beds and couches for sure. Smelled like urine and stinky carpet. Parking space wasn't always available. It's OK for a short stay. We ended up leaving early due to the uncomfortable beds and more.

Perfect little lake house!

My husband and I stayed at this property with our dog a few days last week. The house was clean and quaint, with a very nice large deck perfect for evening grilling. Private dock was easily accessible and just what we were looking for. The location on the lake was close to many of the lakeside restaurants. The Check in process was straightforward. We will definitely be back!

Great little Lake retreat

View of main channel, but benefit of being within a protected cove great for paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing. Nice outdoor space with lots of wildlife. House had everything we needed for a goodnights rest and meal prep. We utilized the covered deck with netted mosquito curtains every evening. A great little lake retreat for small groups.

Great little cabin

The property was just as advertised. It's small but was perfect for the 3 adults in our party. It had everything we needed and the deck was wonderful for enjoying the awesome view. The area is very quiet except for the music from the large nightclub across the lake in the evenings. Once inside the cabin you no longer hear the noise. We had a great stay!

Weekend getaway

This cottage on top of the hill has one of the best views this part of the lake. In a cove but still has a good view of the main channel. Beautiful sunrises & cooler shade in the afternoon on the deck. The wildlife is abundant with the woods that surround this area. Saw deer every evening & some mornings right outside the door. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again.

Hill top cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the Hill Top Cabin. Very clean & had everything we needed to cook, all bedding & basically all the essentials. It was a very clean quite cove. The only thing my family didnā€™t like was that there was no stairs down to the lake so we had to walk up a huge grassy hill.

Great location for a little getaway

My family and I very much enjoyed out stay. The house was exactly as we expected. The kitchen had everything needed and that's appreciated as I love to cook! The view is amazing out the back windows and off the deck. The pictures of the listing don't do justice to it. There's a ton of nature and animal friends visiting the property, which my kids really liked. All in all a great trip and awesome location on the lake. The only thing that would make it even better would be a little fire pit out back for nightime stories and smores. Thanks for the great vacation!

Relaxation and great views

We had a great time. We used the doc a ton for fishing. We brought our black lab and he had a blast swimming and running around outside. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocery options within minutes. We did wish the doc had some lighting for night fishing but it ended up there were too many bugs after dark for us anyway. This was a great place to stay for the price. Thanks for sharing your home!

Hilltop Cottage was grand!

What a wonderful week we had! Just my husband and I and the dog! Beautiful sunrises and lots of wild life. Cabin was very clean and cozy - perfect for us! We will definitely be back!

Had a good stay at property and lots of catfish caught,, the hill is a bit steep for bad knees

Only complaint is grass could have been cut shorter and shower is tiny other then that stay was nice and caught many catfish off dock and seen plenty of deer,ducks and geese to make a hunter happy

Nice little place

This property is just about right for two people. I took my mom to Lake Ozark for a little trip, and it was nice to get out of the normal routine for a while.
