Nice but pricey

  • 4 of 5

Welcoming and somewhat clean. Great view in the morning and right by the river. Downside is that it's a bit pricey, and provided Internet didn't work. About 30 miles away from Lake of Ozarks.

Owner's Response: We had been working with AT&T about our internet - they are the problem and having to run new wire - out of our control. As for distance to the lake I always let people know how far it is. I work at the lake and it is all highway miles from here to there. Sometimes it is enjoying the slower pace that makes the day better! We try not to hide anything about the location. We will even help guest find fun things to do. We enjoy the location, we don't have the hustle and bustle of the Lake, but have the peacefulness of the river. We where out of town the weekend of your visit for a family event! Hope you had a great time on your vacation Rhonda & Chevy

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived late in the dark, but still easy to find. Great clean place to stay. If ever in the area this is the place to stay. I highly recommend this place and can't say that enough. John and Rhonda are the nicest people I have met in a long time. They are very accommodating and will help you out with anything you want or need. We will stay here again. Beautiful and peaceful right on the river.

Beautiful and serene

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved taking our vacation to this cabin. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. We really just wanted a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle and this was perfect. I wish I could add pictures even though they wouldn't do justice. Rhonda and Chevy are wonderful people who are very hospitable.

The Wobbling Duck

  • 5 of 5

It was great having an entire house to relax in, cook our own breakfast, and have a quiet environment to enjoy. The Osage River greeted us each morning with her soothing flow. We would love to bring our kayaks and take a short float down the river. Being able to bring our dog was such a luxury, and she felt quite at home - especially when a cat visited our front porch! The proprietors were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home.

Thank you for your hospitality (and the wine!).

Relaxing visit

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying here. It's out in the country, right across the street from the Osage river. However, it's a short drive into the Lake of the Ozarks area for restaurants, shopping, and lake fun. No cell service, which surprised us at first, but she has wifi so we were stil connected if necessary. Actually, we were escaping demands of work, so no cell service was a relief. If you're looking for a place to get away, this is a good choice.

Very nice, clean, and cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

What great hosts Ronda and Chevy are! They met us with a warm welcome, gave us a tour. We brought our own canoe, Chevy helped us with our shuttle. We can't say enough great things...clean cabin, fresh fruit, wine all for our enjoyment. It was a pleasure for sure! We made two new friends! Thanks, Rhonda and Chevy, we hope to see you again!
