About this property
Treetop Soaks, Fireside Wine, Arcade Games & Easy Access to Ober Mountain - Hideaway Chalet
This unique decagon-shaped cabin in Chalet Village Resort makes every Smoky Mountain getaway feel one-of-a-kind. After exploring Ober Mountain just a mile away or shopping downtown Gatlinburg, return to your peaceful hideaway for a soothing soak in the outdoor hot tub, a rocking chair break with wooded views and seasonal mountain scenes, or a board game marathon with the whole crew. With 2 covered decks, there's always a cozy spot to sip morning coffee or toast to the day under the stars.
Inside, the warm living room sets the scene for connection and relaxation. A stone-encased gas fireplace anchors the space, inviting you to curl up on the sofas for a movie night on the big screen TV or dive into a friendly arcade challenge. The fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, and dining area make mealtimes easy, with plenty of space to cook together and enjoy everything from pancake breakfasts to hearty Appalachian dinners. And fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected with the online world, even in the mountains!
When it's time to rest, 3 bedrooms offer comfort for up to 8 guests, with TVs for winding down and a primary suite with its own private bathroom. A sleeper sofa provides extra flexibility, making this cabin perfect for families or small groups. With community access to seasonal pools, tennis, fitness equipment, and more, plus quick access to the national park, you'll have endless ways to play and unwind before retreating to your private mountain getaway.
Chalet Village Resort — Summer Extras
Enjoy complimentary access to a variety of summertime amenities inside the resort at 3 clubhouses in the community.
• Outdoor swimming pools — loungers, waterslide, kiddy pool, raindrop umbrella!
• Games for all ages — ping-pong, pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, horseshoes
• Fitness equipment — universal gym, varied gear, flatscreen TVs
• Tennis courts — lighted until midnight, some with basketball hoops
• Playgrounds — slides, climbing obstacles, crawl tunnels
Important Notes
• Flat, paved roads lead to the paved driveway that is mildly flat and steep; there's parking space for up to 3 vehicles. There are 6 steps down to reach the porch.
• There is an indoor spiral staircase to reach the lower-level bedrooms and second bathroom; otherwise, there is an exterior staircase to reach the lower-level deck where the hot tub is located.
• Resort amenities, including community pools, are provided and managed through a third party — typically open mid-May through mid-September. Facilities are closed for maintenance on certain midweek days. Host is not liable for availability, maintenance, downtime, or pool closures under any circumstances.
• Usually, the North Clubhouse keeps its tennis court open year-round; however, this is not guaranteed. Tennis courts typically remain lit until midnight. We encourage you to bring your own tennis equipment.
• Resort playgrounds are only available for kids 12 and under.
• An access pass to use Chalet Village Resort amenities will be provided on a hook inside the property. Please remember to hang this back before your departure; otherwise, a $50 replacement fee will be charged.
