Our home has a large upstairs complete with heated floors, a fully stocked kitchen, a mud room with a separate full size freezer & spacious pantry, an office area, a sunroom, a yoga loft (with sleeping options), laundry facilities, a large living room with tv, a large master bedroom with a tv & a set of small twin sized bunks, full master bathroom & a guest half bathroom. Downstairs you’ll find a bedroom with 2 queen beds & a large game room with full sized bunks, a pullout couch & a large bean bag chair with a queen bed inside. There is also a full bathroom downstairs. While Highway 1 is windy the entrance to our home is very easy to navigate. The driveway is flat & short. You will have no issues driving in. Our home is also easily accessible from the parking area to the front door. You will need to cross over unpaved area but it is flat. The upper level of the home is accessible via the front door. There are no steps. To get to the downstairs lower level you’ll need to walk down a staircase. It can be accessed from the exterior but you need to traverse uneven ground around the side of the home or large concrete steps around the other side of the home.
Outside is a fire pit*, horseshoes, a BBQ (Green Mountain Smoker) & 10 private acres of beautiful tall Redwood trees. There are other buildings on the property which are not available to guests. The owner sometimes uses a cabin on the property but guests will be informed of this at least 24 hours beforehand.

* Fire pit use is subject to current weather and fire conditions. At times, particularly during the dry summer months, we may suspend fire pit use if conditions are not considered safe, regardless of whether an official burn restriction is in place. Thank you for understanding and helping us reduce wildfire risk. There’s a large deck off the lower level of the home. There’s also a deck off the front entrance with a Green Mountain pellet smoker grill for you to use and a small deck with stairs down to the lower deck off the sun room.

We have wonderful high speed internet. There are smart TVs in the living room, game room & master bedroom. The game room also has Bluetooth connectivity to listen to music on our high quality speakers while you enjoy your ping pong match.

Maria was an amazing host, quick and easy communication, check in was a breeze, sweet as can be! She even gave us herbs from her garden, wine, EGGS from her chickens in addition to her well equipped home. The property is gorgeous on 10 acres of redwoods right by the coast, tranquil! A total vibe! More than big enough to accommodate our group of 10 with big open spaces and plenty of seating. AND on a clear day, you can see the ocean!

Located on a lovely property in the woods near Gualala, Maria's home was a clean and spacious place for our family of five to spend five days exploring the Mendocino coast. Maria communicated clearly and responded promptly whenever we had any questions. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. There was a storm when we arrived but the house was automatically operating on back-up generator power, and with consistent WiFi, several smart TVs, and a ping-pong table downstairs, we were able to entertain ourselves until the weather cleared up. Beautiful views of nature from all over the house. Would highly recommend this home and would stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Redwood Hollow while in the area for a family event. The home was conveniently located near the event venue while also being conveniently located between Pt. Arena, Anchor Bay, and Gualala. The home is in a lovely grove of redwood trees and the view was beautiful from every window. The large home was clean, comfortable, attractive, and easily accommodated our multi-generational family group. It was stocked with all of the needed basics for our 3-day stay, was clean and comfortable, and felt safe behind a closed gate in a peaceful, rural neighborhood. The game room on the bottom floor kept our youngest family members happy and we appreciated the wifi access on both floors. The home is tastefully and artfully decorated, and we enjoyed the artwork. The comfortable laundry room with washer and dryer were much appreciated by our out-of-state guests after their travels. The local organic coffee provided by the host was a welcome treat each morning. There were plenty of comfortable, clean beds for all, and the three bathrooms were wonderful when we all prepared for our event at the same time. The home is large and allowed those who needed to catch up on rest to find a quiet place away from those who weren't tired. There is a big farmhouse sink, plenty of counterspace, large refrigerator, separate large freezer, Thermadore stovetop, and two ovens, which we put to use when feeding our large group. The host was warm, welcoming, and responsive. 10/10!!
This is the view of the house when arriving. Lights were on and check in details were perfect.
The view from the west side of the home
View to the south, lovely wooden staircase leading from the lower deck to the upper deck
The Frieda Kahlo wall in the small nook off of the kotchen/dining area
