Cute cabin on a quite stream! Relaxing and peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

I loved staying at the charming creek side cottage. It was so quite and peaceful and was a wonderful getaway! My only complaint would be that the amenities state there is an iron and ironing board and there was not either in the cabin. We had to go find wrinkle release spray at a nearby dollar store since I had not preironed anything. However, this was the only hiccup we had. I want to come back and stay longer than a weekend next time. Reading a book on the back porch was amazing! About a 30-40 minute drive to pigeon forge and gaitlinburg, the cabin was the perfect distant from the chaos, but close enough to be able to drive in for whatever we wanted to do. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice creekside in back, no front view due to electric substation.

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The Creek was right outside the back of the cabin and you can sit in the screened in porch and enjoy the sound. There is no view out the front however because the cabin sits across the highway from a very large electric substation. When you see the substation you have arrived. We were a little surprised that we had not seen any mention in any review. However for the price, it was a nice place to stay and very close to the Cosby entrance to the national park. If you plan to cook your own meals, the cookware is limited. Bring your own crockpot if you like to have your meals waiting when you return from hiking. . Also no laundry facilities or wi-fi.

Much needed getaway!!

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is very clean and we LOVED the screened in porch!!! We were worried pulling in that the noise of the road would distract us and when you are in the porch you would never know! Only thing we were super bummed about was not having a wine key! We brought a nice bottle of wine to enjoy and didn't get to drink it. But thank you for a much needed time of refilling our cup with some alone time and unplugged.

Perfect spot for a getaway!

  • 5 of 5

I surprised my husband for his birthday and our anniversary with a three night stay in the Smokey Mountains. I had driven through but never experienced it there. I highly recommend the cabin! It was clean and cool when we got there and we loved the patio overlooking the creek! We had everything we needed there and meant to cook our meals there as well but found that Janice's Diner and Carver's Applehouse were cheap and delicious for breakfast and dinner! We loved the hot tub in the room and after long hikes during the day it was perfect on our sore muscles! The bed was comfortable and AC worked well. I would definitely come back and stay next time we come through! Thank you for a memorable three nights and a beautiful cabin with a view!

Very clean, cute cottage with relaxing water sounds.

  • 4 of 5

Our stay was lovely. Loved the cabin so clean and well stocked. We loved the swings, grill and picnic table overlooking the water. We will definitely go back!

The road outside doesn't really bother you. The water drowns out the sound. The only thing I didn't like was the power station or whatever it was across street in front of mountain. I don't want anyone to take this wrong because we will DEFINITELY go there again. We got to see our first flash flood cool to watch water rise after rain by 2 feet. You are in no danger you sit up so high. Thank you to the owners for letting us share your place! I hope to come back next year.

Nice cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

cabin was exactly as advertised. it was well stocked with linen, towels, etc. there was salt and pepper, sugar and coffee. Hot tub was clean aand functioning. location wwas good. The AC might be a little small for a cabin this size but worked. location is far away from any hubbub and whatever traffic passed the noise was drowned by the soind of water. noise insulation inside the cabin was excellent. there is a dollar store close by that is well stocked and is open until 11pm. would definitely recommend to friends.
