Surfview 1, 2 and 3 share the same three acre ocean front, ocean view lot with a new Olympic sized outdoor sand volleyball court. There is plenty of privacy for each home, but for large groups this is an ideal vacation rental.

Sleep any configuration of 6, 18, 21, 27 or 34 people.

• Surfview I has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6.

• Surfview 2 has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12, and is closest to the ocean.

• Surfview 3 has the most bedrooms of any vacation rental on the peninsula-with 7 bedrooms! Sleeps up to 15.

Surfview 2 offers great common areas for gathering but respects the need for individual privacy. Wake up to a leisurely cup of coffee in sight of the morning ocean shimmer. Have a light picnic on the deck while the Pacific beckons you to explore the 30 miles of sandy beach just beyond the grassy dunes. Bring your summer read, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to catch up on that page turner. Pool or table tennis or pool anyone? On the lower level of Surfview 2 is a great recreation room complete with kitchen and recreation room, perfect for large groups. Don’t forget your best friend! Great space but Very "Tired" House

First we want to thank Kathleen in the office for the friendly, professional and fast responses to questions and requests, including returning a significant item left behind and shipping to us at no charge. Pros: extremely well stocked kitchen with large amount of guest storage, great space for a family with 3 queen rooms and 3 sets of twin beds, large wrap around deck with nice BBQ, great family room for kids (see cons) and second kitchen, the fire pit is perfect for gathering and making s'mores. The laundry room is furnished with great, large capacity appliances. The house cleaners did a really good job cleaning and preparing inside of the house. Cons: this house is very "tired" and dated. The deck is rotting in places and has nails protruding. It has not been stained for some time to protect wood. The living room furniture is very soiled, the coffee table is missing the glass top, the paint on woodwork and doors is in very bad condition, there is mold in two bathrooms along floor by showers and behind floor trim. Bath towels are small, thin and dingy and should be replaced. Pillows on beds are heavily stained. We would suggest bringing your own pillows and bath towels. The pool table in family room is heavily damaged and some of the cues need felt tips. Broken deck chairs and one laying on lower level along with a lot of debris around the house.The lower level patio table has a badly rusted top and is unusable. The house siding on the north side and all the gutters are in dire need of pressure washing. The hose for washing dogs and shoes had several holes and was unusable. Fortunately a family member was able to bring one. The microwave light and fan in the main kitchen did not work. The main kitchen refrigerator was smaller and should be traded with larger, better refrigerator in family area.

Owner's Response: Well, first thanks for taking the time to write the review. We do respectfully disagree with the characterization of the house. Its a great ocean front home, is in great shape and so much improved since the new owners took over a year ago. Still we are sad to see this is the first review, ever, to not recommend the house-especially after so many upgrades this winter! The owners spent much of the winter upgrading the home with the many amenities you mentioned, and others you did not mention, including the new outdoor olympic sized volleyball court, new oven, new TVs, XBox and more. We were used to getting 5 star ratings before all the extra work on the house, so it is so sad to see some of the easier fixes you list would generate such a low score. But, the deck will be stained shortly, gutters pressure washed, if we find any stains we will fix or replace the furniture/pillows (this seems to be overstated), not clear if a larger refrigerator will fit in the built in space, but if so, the owners will buy one-even though there is already 2 refrigerators in the house. Lower outside table was built in years ago and will be removed. There will be new more durable deck furniture shortly-we are very disappointed with the costco chairs we bought that seem to break way too quickly. Stay tuned and check back on the website! Overall worked out well for family reunion. Had some issues with things not working properly such as ceiling fan in livingroom, had timley response by maintenace person who did not fix it but instead broke the glass in the coffee table and promised to return but never saw him again. Disappointing! Felt they could have done better considering the cost.

Owner's Response: H Bradley, is is always disappointing for us to see so many perfect ratings for a home to suddenly see something less than perfect. But we treat this as a learning experience. We are having trouble with the replacement for the ceiling fan so we did add a few extra floor fans for the home. The new part is on its way and will the ceiling fan will be fixed soon. This house was where we had our family reunion at. It was extremely well stocked. There were plenty of plates and silverware and any cooking item you may want or need. Everything was nice and clean and fresh. Unlike a lot of vacation rentals that have a lot of old items. We would absolutely stay here again.

The home had every amenity that you could imagine. The style/layout of the home fit my family perfectly and was as advertised. To my surprise the management even acknowledged my mother's birthday with balloons and an african violet. I believe we will return next year. We received great customer service when a minor maintenance issue arose. We spent most of our time at the house or on the beach. The weather was spectacular for the Washington coast. We had dinner at Dooger's and the food was great. The kids/grandkids really enjoyed the rides in downtown Long Beach and ice cream at Scooper's. My sister's family was pleased with the house and guest house they rented. I highly recommend Bloomer Estates.

This is a great house with every cooking utensil you could ask for! Lots of thoughtful amenities, a whole downstairs game room for the kids with a separate little kitchen as well. Dog friendly and clean as a whistle. A few ants here and there, but that's what you get near the dunes! Management was extremely accommodating and concerned about our Comfort and wonderful to work with. The view from the upstairs was excellent and the security was great. No one can get to your upstairs deck unless through a double locked vestibule. Smart! Loved it. Recommend a million percent for families with kids and a dog. Lot of stairs though, so not ada friendly. Thanks for a great stay!!
