Spacious home comfort and a convenient location just a short stroll from the beach are yours at this Pine Knoll Shores paradise. Boasting a prime, ocean-view location within easy reach of the beach, local dining options, and attractions, this three-story gem comes complete with private amenity offerings including a pool table, a grill, and multiple outdoor areas. A private path right off the back deck leaves you just steps from the beach. On the route, be sure to stop at the restaurant inside the Pine Knoll Shores Inn for some great local dining. A scenic pond, a public swimming pool, tennis courts, and a marina are also just a short walk from the home. The North Carolina Aquarium, Crystal Coast Golf Course, and Fort Macon State Park are all located within easy driving distance of the home. You'll love the home's secluded location surrounded by trees at the end of a private cul-de-sac. Ocean and Bogue Sound views abound on either side of the property.

The ground floor features a dedicated in-law suite complete with a convenient full kitchen and a full bathroom.

The main floor is designed for household gatherings, with an open layout blending together the kitchen, dining, and living spaces. An oversized sectional and a smart TV are ready to welcome casual family downtime while the billiards room sets the stage for some friendly competition. Plenty of cabinet storage, ample counter space, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances are equipped for family meal planning in the main-floor kitchen. The main-floor deck offers the perfect spot for coffee or cocktails.

Three bedrooms are located on the third floor, one of which is the primary suite complete with a large en suite bathroom and private access to ocean and sound-view balconies.

Fun stay

We’ve stayed all over the island over the years, this house compares favorably to many at higher price points. A few little things keep it from perfection but it’s a great stay that we would do again. Location: Handy, easy beach access as stated Home: spacious. Could use a few more kitchen dishes but the appliances are all very nice and cooking there is easy. The elevator was a must since we have a limited mobility family member and it was great. Overall everything we cared about was as it should be, the home was clean, quiet and in a great spot.

Fantastic house!

This house was a great size and layout for our family of eight people! The kitchen had everything we needed to make family dinners almost every night, and the walk from the beach was really easy and quick. We would definitely return!

Ocean Escape Pine Knoll Shores

The house was beautiful and the beach was super close. It was an easy walk even with two toddlers. The community pool was nice too! We were initially staying in the Atlantic Beach area but had to move to Ocean Escape in Pine Knoll Shores after a storm. Sandy from Vacasa was super helpful and made the transition very smooth. The customer service was top notch!

Beautiful house, so close to beach!

This house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen and common areas are big and well functioning. The bedrooms are a great size and comfortable. The beach is so close! Our only issues were with the dishwasher and the dryer not working unfortunately for most of our stay. Once the appliances are addressed this house will be perfection! We did see some bugs but not on the first day, be sure to be diligent with the doors going in and out because the beautiful trees have lots of bugs in them.

Short walk to the beach

We have been renting beach homes in the area for the last 12 years. This is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed with our choice in rentals. And the first time we have ever had issues we had to call about.

Ocean Escape Holiday

The Great: Loved the location and spaciousness. Easy to access the beach, pools, tennis/pickleball, and basketball goals. 15 minute walk to the marina. Great spot with privacy, but close to Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle and their amenities. 25 minute drive to Beaufort. Couldn’t ask for a better location or the open floor plan on the main level for everyone to enjoy each others company. Highly recommend! The Not as Great: Although communicated by VACASA, ice maker in the freezer and dishwasher did not work properly for part/all of the week. Some updates to fixtures (sliding glass door blinds) and sliding glass doors themselves (rusting on tracks on 3rd floor), not easy to open. Driveway can be a bear for larger vehicles (Tahoe/Suburban size). All in all, very minor issues for the value and location, would highly recommend!

Loved location

The location of the home was perfect and quiet. Beautiful community. Pool was clean and relaxing short walk to beach and pool. As for the homes cleaning company didnt clean all dishes or some sheets. Had to sweep sand from floors on main level. Coffee pot had molded full coffee filter that had been there for wks maybe. The upstairs bathroom ceilings both had a lot of mold showing. Told management company its a major issue. Management company was good to deal with except no adress to send pics of mold to. Also there were 4 full bags of trash in garage and the trash pickup on Tuesday an s friday never came and laundry bag was out on front porch when we arrived annd no one came all wk to pickup. Overall the house worked and location was good. The house is a nice place just needs a lot of tlc

Very unclean

We were very unsatisfied with this house. Check-in was delayed an hour due to cleaning but the cleaning was very insufficient. 1. Shower drain in primary bath full of hair and doesn’t drain 2. Shower floor in primary bath slick from slimy soap scum 3. Dirty dishes in cabinets 4. Ice maker doesn’t dispense 5. White dog hair everywhere especially stairs 6. Primary bedroom sheets do not smell clean 7. Dishwasher does not clean dishes 8. Third floor bathroom drain full of hair and does not drain 9. Balls of human hair in primary bathroom 10. Sand all over floor 11. Trash under bunk beds 12. No beach towels 13. Stove range panel dirty with food and crumbs 14. No soap in downstairs bathroom 15. Vent in third floor bathroom covered in black mold This is second property we’ve rented from Vacasa. Never again!!

Could be great with a few fixes

Ocean Escape is well furnished with a quick walk to the beach. It was very clean and felt pretty new. It has lots of room for large groups to spread out. The beach is a short walk away and it was nice to have a community pool and tennis courts (they even have pickle ball). We had several maintenance issues in the first couple of days and Vacasa was amazing at handling them! We were disappointed that the elevator that was in the listing was not available. We arrived during a big storm and it would have been nice to avoid unloading in the rain. One thing that was not clear in the listing is that the lower level is not accessible from the main house (would be with the elevator). This is nice if some of your guests need their own space but our group felt disconnected. The kitchen is not well-equipped, especially for large families. There were very few pots and pans (not even a cookie sheet). Overall, we enjoyed our time at Ocean Escape!
