The Shell Box III met all our needs - great space for all of us and our two dogs. Loved the multiple decks and how close it was to the beach. Well-stocked with all the beach accessories we could need.

Perfect Getaway!

I had the best Christmas ever at this amazing, clean, and spacious place just one block from the beach. The location is unbeatable, and bringing my dog made it even more special. Highly recommend for a perfect holiday getaway!

Great location close to beach!

We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was chilly. The house is very well equipped and has lots of cute beach decor. Nice outdoor spaces and a quick walk to the beautiful beach. Very family and pet friendly!

Perfect get away!

This house is welcoming, well appointed, plenty of space to spread out and charming. The access to the beach is amazing. A short walk and your feet are in the sand. Would stay here again for sure!

The House was very nice :)

I loved staying @ this house because it's a very short walk over to the public beach access. The multiple balconies and sitting areas allowed privacy for all of us. The check in/check out process was simple. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels provided and just an overall great place to stay.

Short Thanksgiving Trip

We stayed at Shell Box III for a few days over Thanksgiving 2023. The house was clean and spacious, perfect for our family (three generations). It had a well equipped kitchen, two baths, and three bedrooms. We were quite happy with it and would love to stay again.

The cottage with everything!

We enjoyed it all! We were welcomed with a clean house and lots of little extras were provided. Short walk to beach and a cozy sun porch to sit on when it was chilly outside. Just a perfect place for us. We hope to return! Thank you!

Great pet-friendly option at Sunset Beach

Very happy with this property- close to the beach and affordable. Had everything we needed (kitchen appliances, dishes, etc). Only complaint is they did not vacuum the pet hair from a previous occupant off the furniture.

My sister and I spent a few days is this lovely crab appointed shack and enjoyed our time! Although we awaited Tropical storm Nicole and worried a bit about outdoor furniture and pillows the wind and sputtering rain did not diminish our time together.

Just Beachy!

We are repeat visitors to Shell Box III. This says a lot! The decor is cozy beach with lots of little extras. They even thought of our puppy. It is a short half a block walk to the beach. There is plenty of parking.

We arrived at 11PM Saturday of check in. AC was only cooling to 75. A bit understandable because of the heat wave. We used the box vans provided. The next day we were at beach all day and then dinner, Home was 80 degrees upon return. We called rental agency. they said someone will be by shortly. A handyman showed up at 10PM. He could not fix the HVAC. He said HVAC tech would be there early next day. They came at 5PM the next day.Other than that it is a great home, the master bedroom mattress is comfortable. The other two bedrooms desperately need new mattresses and the sofa in family room was disgusting and about 20 years old. We placed sheets over it to sit on.It is very well decorated and in a great location. Lots of items usable from closet under home. Umbrellas, chairs etc...Overall I'd give our stay a C. If the beds were updated and sofa it would have been more enjoyable. The 100 degree weather was a bit much as well, but that's uncontrollable. We would stay there again if new beds and sofa were updated.

Short walk to brach

The house was nice and pet friendly. I was not expecting something over the top nice since it was dog friendly. The house did need some attention to the interior ceiling and the skylight did leak during a heavy rain storm.
