Beautiful home and property! Well appointed with every comfort, every detail and impeccably clean. We appreciated the quick, easy communication with the hosts. One family, three generations and we enjoyed all Lake Placid has to offer and had the perfect place to end the day. We look forward to booking again.

Sentinel Sunrise is a wonderful property, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The house was clean and very well stocked. We had everything we needed to make large family meals. It was as if every detail had been thought of. The house is very spacious and provides several areas for groups to gather. Love having the game room off of the dining area as it serves double duty. The fireplace in the family room makes everything cozy on chilly nights. Walking into and around the village was great. The house is an easy walk and the shops, lake, and mountains beckon us to get outside and explore all that LP has to offer. Our second time to LP, we have enjoyed going to the Olympic Center Museum, the Cliffside Coasters, as well as the hour long boat tour of the lake offered by Mirror Lake Inn. And while the public beach was closed for swimming this time (it is fall!), kayakers had glorious days on Mirror Lake. The lake is always nice!!Jay and Priscilla were very responsive before and during our stay. Everything went smoothly throughout our time there. Thank you for sharing your family’s home with us for a few days. Can’t wait to go back.

This house was exactly what were looking for, and more! The property itself is beautiful and had plenty of space for our large family. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies; there were plenty of towels for the hot tub, and it was perfectly clean when we arrived. It's in a great location too - just a couple minute drive down to the main street area. The hosts were very kind offering local recommendations and checking in to make sure we got in okay. We would absolutely stay here again!
