We had 3 families in the house and it was perfect. Within walking distance to everything Lake Placid offers, but also removed enough to have our own private space. We would absolutely come back!

This house has a beautiful view of the lake, village and mountains. The location is great, the house is comfortable and roomy and it was a great home base for exploring the Adirondacks and visiting historic sites. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect set up for families

The property completely met our needs. It was spacious for our three generation family. Location couldn’t be better, close to village and if ice is frozen, you can walk across the lake to the center of town.

Another great stay

We enjoyed our first visit last December so much, that we booked again for Thanksgiving. The house is very well suited for multi-generational families. There are two master suites and the grand children had their own bedrooms. The location is perfect for all Lake Placid activities. We hope to return again soon!

Great location for a group of 6 adults to explore various points in the ADK. Property was clean and as advertised, with plenty of space. A couple improvements could be made - bedding could be updated, and could use a few more items like real dishcloths, recycling bins, spare blankets, etc. Definitely spartan for the price, as other reviews have noted, but you're paying for location here.
