We found the property exactly as listed. There was plenty of space for our family of 17. There was lots to do and the sunsets were worth the trip by themselves! I recommend this beautiful home to any family wishing to get away and relax.
We were disappointed with our stay and felt the listing was misleading. While the location is convenient, that’s where the positives end.The home is not as advertised. Several interior doors wouldn’t close properly, making privacy an issue. The mattresses in every room were very uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep.Basic amenities were lacking. There were no hairdryers upon arrival, and we were told they were all “broken.” Only after we requested them were they delivered, which should have been addressed ahead of time.A major issue not clearly disclosed is that the house sits directly in the flight path of very loud military jets, flying multiple times a day and disrupting conversations and relaxation.Communication from Bryan at Stringer Management was inconsistent. Automated texts set expectations that didn’t match reality, making the experience feel impersonal and very misleading. We expect management may downplay these concerns—pointing out hairdryers were provided or that jet noise is “out of their control”, or their communication was clear -that doesn’t change the inaccurate listing and overall experience with the management company. We would not stay here again and recommend asking detailed questions before booking, or expect random fees to be charged because of miscommunication from management. We have rented over 20 homes from VRBO with positive experiences and we have never left a negative review but this was warranted for this rental experience.
